What we’re looking for
We’re looking for a producer to join the highly successful, 10-year-old strong, world-best-selling hardcore survival game, Rust. Facepunch Studios isn’t your average video game studio, Rust has a team of 30 developers, we don’t have design documents, we have teams throughout the world working 24/7, we don’t have set working hours, and we don’t have meetings unless absolutely necessary.
The Rust team operates with rapid speed. With the objective of one core content patch every month, with multiple hotfixes and holiday events in between, we have delivered this to our community without delay for the past 10 years.
We advocate for empowering developers with the freedom and responsibility to complete their tasks. Your job is to bring together departments when needed and help steer the team. You will be liaising with all departments, including QA, marketing and support.
You will be working closely with the Executive Producer, and Rust’s project lead on many aspects of your role, focusing on supporting the development teams, long-term planning and ensuring other departments are kept in the loop. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with our marketing and QA teams, forming a close connection with our community and partners.
The role isn't game design-focused, but your opinion and the freedom to speak your mind are highly encouraged regarding all aspects of design.
