I've been working on a Userscript that should allow non-US residents to view ComedyCentral videos online.
I live in the US, so I can't even properly test the script.
Currently, only http://www.colbertnation.com is supported.
Before testing the script, try viewing something without it. The expected result is that it will tell you that the video isn't available in your country.
Also, I'd like to have a look at the HTML source of the page so I can make sure that the data I need to extract from it will show up even if the video won't play.
Now you can install the script from here: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/79900
Try viewing the same video. Be sure to test the video clips and the full episodes. They behave a little differently
I believe this method should work because in the past I've found a way to get the direct URL to the videos and sent them off to a friend in Canada who was then able to view them. But live I've said, I haven't been able to properly test the script outside of the US, and I don't know if the video id will show up in the HTML.
If the test goes well, I'll be able to add The Daily Show and whatever else.
