Well here's a tip: The rocket sprite is not circular, It is a line. I am VERY sure I saw the rocket sprite in hammer once...
Isn't there a way to create the effects as standalone model sort-of things?
For example, in Gmod, by default we're able to spawn some of the portal effects from Half Life 2, and move them around by phys-gunning a green circle at their bottom.
Isn't it possible to do the same for these?
I'm just curious.
Those effects that you mention are different from the effects like the muzzle flashes, bullet impacts, and shell casings
I'm not entirely sure why, but they are considered prop effects, while the muzzle flashes arent...
But either way, you can't do that with the muzzle flashes =(

No you don't get it. If I take all the materials folders inside of 'action flash' and 'Awesome Sparks' and put them in Materials, then I have Garrysmod/Garrysmod/Materials/Effects/Muzzleflash1 (and 2 3 and 4)
If I do that then I only have one set of effects because they all overwrite eachother, so then I would have to put them in like this; Garrysmod/garrysmod/materials/actionflash/materials/effects/muzzflash1, Which doesn't show up in game.
You can, unfortunately, only have one type of muzzle flash at a time. I have mentioned before that if somebody could script an emitter that can use files named muzzleflash5(6,7,8,9...) then I would be very happy. But for the time being, you select the muzzle flash that you like best (or think would best fit your pose if use them for that) then install that one. You can't have them all at once.

I'm Just wondering are these things just for the emitters or are they for the actual guns? and if they are not would you be able to replace the flash on the actual guns?
Can you make a tab or something that allows you to disable and enable the effects and choose which ones you have?
As for Gbombs, I found them to make the explosions look way more kickass, so I don't know what your problem is.
Of course if you want to, you can always just uninstall the explosion. Just delete the fire_cloud1 and 2 files in your materials/effects folder.
Holy shit, those look sexy. Especially the Pulse Rifle.. While I don't really care for the posing (I suck at it, that's why.), those effects look photoshopish. Also, purple muzzle flash looks kinda weird, but that's probably just me.
So, is it possible to make emitter?
I'm lovin' these effects. The purple one does look good ingame, but my favorite one is the action-realistic one.

Okay, I thought this was really cool it's just, before I download this, I just want to know, can you switch which effect you have when you shoot a gun?
Like if I was to get bored of the purple heat effect, I can switch to the badass effect?
