That was some good shit.
Has anyone else tried dicking around with the rooms file?
If I could stand playing that game for more than thirty seconds I would probably figure out what all those values do.
My facility is nothing but offices, gas mask hallways, and large empty rooms.
So I started playing the game, guess there's a couple funny moments here, though you'll notice I appear to have a problem with the game.
It still happens even after the latest update.
Anyone have any idea how to fix this?
PS IF I SOUND LIKE A POMPOUS BRITISH MAN AT THE BEGINNING MY BAD ITS A HABIT
I didn't understand until after I finished (read: stopped) playing the game that the eye bar thing was actually me blinking. That really, really would have helped me had I known sooner. I thought it was a darkness meter or something, I don't even know.
I think an interesting idea for this game (and forgive me if it's been suggested) is perhaps a button that "keeps your eyes open". Essentially, stalling your blinks at the expense of, say, a little bit of health the longer you do so (only way I could think to balance it).
Might help some of those situations where 173 has you cornered and is blocking the door.
Welp - I'm fucked.
106 always has no legs for me and punches me in the dick.
I am the butt ghost.
I will eat your butt.
Also, the eyedroppers thing isn't a bad idea. Maybe if you run them through the Clockworks on Very Fine you get some sort of super-drops that let you avoid blinking for [insert time].
I think you should have to mash a button like the spacebar to hold off blinking, but it'd only slow the bar down.
You could get them through putting either the gasmask or the eyedroppers through Very Fine, they'd protect you from the teargas.
If you put the SCP-detector thing in with them it could put a map on the HUD.
It'd be difficult to make 914 an instant-win button though.
I don't like how the blinking thing has a fixed time, when I blink IRL the time inbetween can very from even less than a second to minutes. Of course, going without blinking for several minutes ingame will just make everything a little bit easy, but I'd like it if the blinking thing could have a range of times which can be chosen randomly.
I think I'm going to wait to play it until it's officially released
What shape, then, is my field of view?
Every time I see SCP 106 I just let go of my keyboard and let it happen.
Is there any place I can see the controls for this game because options is entirely empty.
I know that space is for blink but I don't know what the inventory is.
