I'm all red!
I don't know what to get.
Arrow on basement 1? That's like a gauranteed win
Went with arrow....
and got brimstone on caves one
mom's contact+piercing shots+ouija board is a bit ridiculous and by a bit ridiculous i mean really overpowered
seriously i decimated mom's heart without taking a point of damage
forgot to take a screenshot but you'll believe me right guys?
So close to golden god. I only need to find Mom's Contact and Demon Baby and I'll have it.
Oh god I am so mad right now. I ended up in the sheol with one heart. I finally get to Satan and I kill him at the exact same time I was dodging one of those exploding leeches which caused it to die.
Just started a game with Cain. Found the xray glasses in basement 1's treasure room. Revealed secret room right next to it. Found The Noose in there.
I can already tell this will be a good playthrough.
Can anyone explain to me how exactly the Steam Sale item works?
Does it work on certain items in subsequent runs aswell? (I'm pretty sure about that but not how it works.)
It halves the price on everything in the shop.
15¢ items (basically all upgrades) now goes for 7¢,
5¢ (Bombs, keys, soul hearts, tarot cards and pills) items now go for 3¢,
3¢ items (Hearts) become 2¢ items.
Managed to import saves from other PC. Got all visible characters except Eve unlocked, apparently.
I think I once entered a shop and there were some items half price (red colored price) although I did not pick up a Steam Sale in that run.
Oh my look at those meat boys
what a cool couple
So I left this game on overnight since I was too tired to keep playing, but had a really sweet playthru so far. Lo and behold I woke up this morning and my computer failed to post
Fixed now of course.
What happens when you combine a half assed Zelda clone with a poorly written story and badly thought out rogue-like elements? Binding of Isaac happens, that's what. The game is not only a lazy and boring mess but its also an incredible technical and design failure. It's obvious from the start by it's godawful menu system. Navigating around the menus is a chore. For example graphic options aren't even visible in the menus unless you press the esc button to bring up an entirely different menu scheme. Not even 10 seconds into Binding of Isaac and I'm already missing my 5$. No controller support either, which is especially stunning in a game like this. This isn't a limitation of Flash either, it's entirely possible to program AS3 support for a 360 or PS3 controller (I've done it myself actually). No excuses there except lazy programming. As for the gameplay itself, well, it's miserable. It's a mindless click-fest that will leave your hand numb minutes into the game. There's no real strategy to enemies or boss encounters other than clicking as fast as you possibly can. There isn't much more to say about the game, seriously. It's a simple repetitive mess that never evolves or offers you anything but what you see i nthe first few minutes...which is nothing. There's simply no reason to play Binding of Isaac. It offers little to no reward for doing so. And judging from how poorly made the game actually is it's clear the developers just threw this out as fast as they possibly could. Simply put, you'll get more entertainment value from watching your money go round n' round your toilet bowl when you flush it. Which, if you actually paid money for this game, you did anyway. Enjoy your 5$ turd.
If not, send me the source.
If you did, what the fuck am I reading?
Oh no you didn't, link me the source right now! Oh god found it, it's from metacritic
Right there, Kazan. He also gave Bastion a 5 Got to be a troll.
