I need a good asparagus recipe.
"start backing some french toasts with bacon on a fridge"
What's wrong with that? I'm not american, my English is shitty :/
well, this is a fridge
as for backing, i'm sure you just meant baking (it's actually called frying, because you do it in a frying pan, not a fridge)
but i could forgive you for that one!
and i'm not american either!
lol, now I see how dumb that was, i'll use a dictionary for my next post ;)
Well turns out in 2 weeks time my parents a going away for a while Ive decided to use this chance to try out some new recipes. Post your ideas here Ill be doing my uni dissertation during the entire time they are gone so I have plenty of time for food prep.
some pig, some chicken wok, and some delicious cake.
Cooked a big, spicy meatloaf wrapped in bacon, topped with self made tomato hot sauce and melted cheese. Here's a pic with some slices on my plate, alongside some fried and spiced potatoes/carrots.
it's clearly a rug...
What kinds of camera do you guys use to take picture of your food.
canon 600d usually. sometimes iphone, but i don't think i've uploaded any of them here.
Was lazy so used Iphone for the image (Aka horrible quality)
noodles with some onion Some fried eggs and a beef thing Yum
On the menu tonight is chicken breast fillets with peppercorn sauce, green beans and baby sweetcorn, and dauphinoise potatoes with sponge cake for dessert. I'll post pics later :)
The dauphinoise didn't go too well, but everything else was amazing.
Making a pizza, will post a second picture of the end result
i kicked off easter with this omelette featuring chicken left-overs that i cooked along with some salsa
topped with some grated cheese and salsa
served with plain old bread and cherry tomatoes
I like your slippers.
Salsa is awesome on eggs, I never think to do it though
This is the first meal I ever made. It's called Taco Casserole.
I'm extremely proud of this, easy to make, too.
Just ground beef, cheese, tortilla shells, and taco seasoning.
looks more like a cake :P did you use self raising flour?
Haha they do! Just checked, plain. Tasted like cookies though, and had white choc chips in.
Maybe I whisked it a little too much.
are you sure? i'd be very surprised that it would rise that much with just half a teaspoon of bicarb
i'm not denying it looks tasty though!
I'm sure! Though I wasn't in charge of the bicarb - would it do that if there was too much in?
bicarbonate of soda is just a raising agent, the more you add the more it'll rise (to a point)
maybe half a tablespoon was added instead of half a teaspoon. ah well, so long as you enjoyed it!
Making another pizza, with more cheese this time
I feel terrible after eating all of that
i didn't really think you could have too much cheese on a pizza, but that looks pretty bad imo.
it looks like a pale pancake with a pound of butter melted on it.
