War in Turkey continues. Despite large efforts, Coalition forces are still unable to fully wrest control of Silivri from Turkish army. Order's troops were engaged in intensive street battles for the last few weeks, aiding their allies in takeover of coastal southern part of the city.

Fortified Turkish positions inside buildings are significantly slowing down the advance towards the northern part. Last few days were marked by several minor successes by Crusaders, in which some of these hard points were stormed and captured, allowing ERR to advance a little further.

But even then, the situation is turning into a quagmire. Casualties are mounting quickly for the Order, as several units were already wiped out during a massive Turkish counterattack yesterday, and a couple more are stuck and desperately defending their positions while awaiting reinforcements.

Turkish army is pouring more and more units into the city, hoping to sufficiently whittle down the advancing Coalition forces. Right now, Turkish have control of Silivri prison complex, which is adjacent to E84 highway - a major road that's used by them to resupply and reinforce their units fighting in the northern city part. Capturing the prison complex would be a major tactical victory, allowing the Coalition to cut off enemies in Silivri and to defeat them in short time.

Since allied forces are already well within a striking distance to the prison, the operation will begin immediately. The Order will send their 2 full brigades (composed of 2000 soldiers each) to aid ERR and several Reichstadt units in this important attack. No doubt the objective will be fiercely defended and casualties suffered, so before departing every Crusader receives a blessing from Order's preachers, strengthening their resolve and fanaticism.

TPAF PAK-FA jets have taken to the skies to strike back against Penumbra aircraft after their attack against TPA ground forces, both sides faced minimal losses with one or two aircraft being downed. More TPAF aircraft are expected to arrive in the coming days to back up the expeditionary forces on the ground and set up air superiority in the region.

Buk anti-air systems have also rolled out and into forward positions to target and shoot down any Penumbra aircraft moving in for an attack. So far the systems have claimed one enemy aircraft and caused several to turn back. S300 systems are rumored to be on their way to set up in New Hansa for defense.

The newly emerged forces, which have yet to be named, are shown in this recent photograph examining the aftermath of a small firefight that occurred in a town in southern Turkey, which lasted approximately 7 hours. They have suffered minor casualties. We will keep you updated with more info soon...

Sorry Tbone, just thought I'd post this here as I don't have him on steam. I was going to switch to SFM, but I found that the model that I us for Kraaivuur bugged out with their yes and I couldn't seem to find a fix online. So I'm back to using edited Gmod.

On the other hand I found SFM extremely easy to use and pose with, eve n if 90% of the tutorials are for TF2 stuff, the textures also look cleaner somehow, but that might just be my imagination.

Been quiet lately and will be probably for a little longer, took the quiet time in ESPW to redo all my models for the Legion.

Two versions so far, one normal combat model and Urban warfare model.

    Silivri, Turkey
With the offensive slowing in the recent weeks - ERR troops have been clean sweeping streets with their newly arrived armored forces. The T-80UKs have proven useful against the Turkish forces hiding out in the buildings and escorting the ERR forces. With the Order's objective to attack the Turkish FOB at the prison - ERR forces will be sending more forces to help out in the attack which if successful will put the ERR and their allies in the advance towards Constantinople. Rumors have it, the ERR may send their Black Sea fleet to blockade the city until they surrender to the EEC forces.

These new forces (which I have yet to name) have been engaged in fierce fighting for days with insurgents in southern Turkey.

Above: A soldier lies dead in the street after being killed by an insurgent bullet.

An insurgent truck lies in flames after being hit by an RPG round.

You really should give them a name before doing anything with them.

It kind of goes without saying that it's one of the fundamental requirements of making a faction in the first place.

Sorry for not posting anything about South Africa, I've had some stuff going on in my personal life lately and on top of that my PC is slowly dying on me. I'm trying to work on poses when I can but I keep on scrapping them. (or my computer crashes and I can't be bothered to redo the progress I made since the last save, one of the two.)

I save as soon as I finish setting up the scenery and then after every second ragdoll I pose. It gets cluttered but you can always remove the older saves when you're done.

Herreran forced moved into New Hansa territory to aid the Central Pact allies in the AO. Herreran troops set up at Tbonian FOBs. In further plans to aid their allies, HAF F-22 Raptors were tasked to escort a HAF C-17 Globemaster (Thank you, Kali) over possible hostile territory.

F-22 Raptors preparing for take-off at a Tbonia FOB.
As soon as the C-17 entered friendly territory it airdropped IVECO LMVs and M2 Bradleys for Firebrand troops currently in the AO.

Firebrand forces secure a dropped IVECO LMV.

New Hansa - TPA forces made a push in the dead of night to take the fight to Kraivuur and Penumbra. The TPAF and HAF provided air cover for the assault and also duked it out with Penumbra aircraft.

No, I erased that I reverse engineered them because I took a lot of flak from the other GMs about it. F T said they are highly classified so I thought that meant it would be very hard for everyone to get them the traditional way.

    Edited:

Sorry if i'm making such a big deal about it, when I wanted to start my faction, I had wanted the Raptors to be the premier fighters. I mean I still do, but now I have a small highly modified fleet of the fastest aircraft in human history in my faction so the desire has kinda lost it's flame. But when I saw frost's faction start with them, it kinda rekindled that flame.

The problem wasn't limited to you having F-22s, but after you left for the first time, we had a discussion about the use of certain real-world military equipment.

We decided that in the interest of being able to use certain models, the EW versions of real-world countries would be open to selling things to appropriate factions that they realistically wouldn't sell to anyone.

For example, the British don't sell anything to anyone, but if someone wants to use L85s or Challenger IIs because the models are available, then they can do so, providing we deem they're someone that the UK might do business with. This means that Western nations (or really, anyone) wouldn't go selling equipment and weaponry to radical terrorist groups like AWA or the ERR, but PMCs and the non-evil nations could do business and have a logical reason for operating things like the F-22 or Challenger II.

Haha, why is everyone thinking the ERR is a radical terror group - we are a sovereign nation, protecting the rights of all citizens both ERR, and abroad.

Also, a real question here. So if my models use Russian gear - mainly more Soviet gear. With only my Praetorian Guard (More elite forces) using modern Russian gear at least early to mid 2000's would that be reasonable or would it seem unlikely if Russia would supply us with that gear? But even so couldn't the ERR just buy it second-hand from one of their shady allies like Belarus or one of the stan's

Because the ERR is literally chopping people apart and giving their nazi salutes while their allies are Fourth Reich and varying Neo-Nazi Ukrainians lol

Due to the lack of custom/anything else models lying around, I think it's safe to let gear slide. Especially east bloc stuff with how common it is and how much was produced and sent to surplus.

I suppose, but they "threatened" the safety of our citizens. but the salute was Roman before and now is again lol and it is just a coincidence that their the allies of a Roman faction.

Alright, sounds good - now with vehicles and I know its a different story. Now like for example, the ERR uses mainly T-80 series all produced before 2000 or just hitting the year. Is it reasonable they could get their hands on this weaponry? And another example is the Mi-24G Hind (modernized Mi-24) which the ERR is having replace their older hind models.

If I may interject for just a moment, and seeing as I was the one who raised questions and suspicions about Gecko owning F-22s, I feel like I need to chime in as well. Apparently the rule was you can get such things from countries as long as you aren't against them. Like Kali said, the UK wouldn't sell a Challenger 2 to an anti-UK faction, but would sell one that's at the very least on neutral terms with them.

To put this in basic terms. The London Lads #WELOVETHEQUEEN PMC group could get their hands on a few Challenger 2's if they wanted. However, Jihadi John and the Funky Bunch would not because they're a group of smelly terrorists that do not like the UK because they believe all British people have bad teeth and that's totally haram.

Though there are some special cases. For example: CoG would not be able to get F-22s because they're a very dangerous and scary group of people despite them being ultra pro-american and living in the US.

Either way, this is what I recall being discussed when I first started kicking up dirt about the issue.

So would that mean that I am able to buy the F-22?
I guess this means you could get the F-22 after all for the reasons above.
