I'll restore my computer to when it was on August 5th, 2015. That's before I even played with TheRubberFruitFace, so I'm good!

First off : you're bordering on shitposting with all the consecutive posts

Now, you need to have a DM_Dustbowl, not just any dustbowl. Dustbowl is a CP map I think? So of course you'd have a copy of it

It only comes up with models and I never played with Rubber. My anti-virus blocked it. I don't remember playing the map tho.

All this shit makes me glad that my internet made the game too laggy for me a few days ago. The last time I played was on Sunday, and I don't have any of the red alerts that people have reported.

This is really retarded, I feel sorry for all the people who have to reformat their computers because some tools wanted to stir up trouble.

Windows is a secure OS (sarcasm). They let people run admin accounts by default and run UAC at half-ass settings, or completely turned off.

    either
If you upgraded your PC from Windows 8 to Windows 8.1 and your PC has a Windows 8 recovery partition, resetting your PC will restore Windows 8. You’ll need to upgrade to Windows 8.1 after the reset has finished

Check your Source SDK folder for svchost.exe, if it isn't there, you are probably safe.

I did a file search for "dustbowl", and proceeded to panic when I saw that I had a version that wasn't a cp. Then I realized that tr_dustbowl is the edited version used for training in default TF2.

you should definitely be able to so long as you still have the serial key that came with it so you can activate it again

It spreads through soundsprays so if you had cl_customsound (I do not know what command it is) set to 1, then you might be infected.

sv_allowupload 1 and (serverside) sv_upload 1 are also some of the commands.

which was turned on by default

ALSO a thing you can try to see if you're infected: See if your screensaver comes up at all. If it nevers comes up that might be sign for suspicion.

check for logs in C:/ProgramData too

Left my computer for a bit, and my lovely Windows 9X era maze popped up, so I'm assuming that I got lucky and made it our unaffected. I'm going to let my virus scan finish up though, just to be on the safe side.
