    Backseat as in a "back seat driver" which is a person who tells you how to drive while they are just sitting in the back. Its fairly annoying in driving context but silly on this forum, a couple mods need to chill

    Well I attempted to clone this addon (https://scriptfodder.com/scripts/view/300) but hilariously failed. I used the DoPlayerDeath hook to force drop the weapon and set a Networked Bool on it and throw it in a table and then clientside looped through the table and tried to draw 3d2d text over it. For whatever reason the Networked bool doesnt do anything (I discovered it using traces and printing the bool). So I give up

    Also you need to throw in a modifier for if slowed == true because Slowed is used when zooming and that might be a bit wonky if you have a heavy weapon and zoom in.

    You're right. I haven't used the TTT base in ages, forgot how much of a piece of shit it was. Will sort.

    I made a Weapon Weight addon too lol and made sure to do that. I collaborated on it with the owner of the clan I was once in and he didnt want it released, so it never saw the light of day

    So after seeing this, and realising it is the PINNACLE of GLua coding, i first, shit myself in awe and admiration, then proceeded to cry realising that every addon made before this wasn't "Proffesional" enough.

    The likes of ARCBank, DeagleLogs, LeyAC and many more addons, do not measure up to this one in terms of coding.

    So after my small depression attack of how insignificant my coding skills were, i attempted a pathetic attempt at recreating this piece of god given VGUI.

    The angle looks odd; I'd recommend changing it to a 45 by setting the ( x = x - h ) on the tilt part.

    Spacing and tabulation are preference, but there also are kind of rules, like not randomly using a space instead of tab - consistency.

    Even if he was talking about the ScriptFodder version ( which I really doubt ) he claims every single addon before some HUD "isn't professional enough".

    I think there's a difference between calling people skids (when the code they made is neater than yours) and the fact that designing such a 'simple and easy replicatable' HUD can take hours til you're happy with a design. Do me a favour and don't bash the people who actually put thought into their creations.

    I thought this was supposed to be a cloning thread not 'let's make drama and call everybody a shit coder'. Everybody has their own standard. Look at Acecool, he has his own standard and gets the shit ripped into him all the time about it.

    I made the code in under 10 minutes, not worrying about what is being used.

    It's the exact same if someone released something in the Gamemodes and Addons released. If their code is shit, people criticize them. Why does it have to be different here? Because you are making something paid free? It's not an excuse.

    Pretty much everything i made/cloned for my TTT in a single addon, you probably shouldn't run this on your server as is because there's unfinished/broken things in there. Although if you know the basics you can easily extract the parts you want or learn from my code. Stuff that's in there:

    - Completely unfinished betting system that you should probably ignore
    - Custom equipment menu (detective and traitor)
    - Damage indicators (these are on the workshop, i was planning on rewriting them so if you want to use them just get the workshop version)
    - Scoreboard admin buttons (image)
    - Sprinting
    - zedtime (completely rewrote from scratch)
    - ragdoll remover
    - killed by messages (only shows team not player name)
    - pointshop points for kills (or subtract for teamkills, no messages again, to prevent ghosting)
    - customized knife that has instant kills for backstabs only
    - SLAM trip mine for Traitors (completely rewritten to use SetCollisionBoundsWS, all other public versions as far as i know use crappy traces which are slow and inaccurate)
    - ULX commands:
    - reloadmap: reloads current map
    - nextmap: shows next map
    - give, give player(s) a weapon
    - micon/micoff, forces +/-voicerecord on a player
    - listfriends, shows all friends of a person who are playing on your server right now (for ghosting)
    - crash, force a player's client to close and display a message saying "HACKER" or something
    - slay, overrides regular slay but removes and identifies corpses
    - slaynr, same as the above but waits for the round to start, can stack multiple times
    - force, force a player to be role. This will give credits and proper karma however at the end of a round some of the messages will still assume the players initial team (ie. X had their finger slip Y times while looking at teammates if they're forced traitor and kill innocents, not sure why this happens)
    - forcenr, same as above but waits for a new round to start
    - respawn, respawn a dead player, remove their corpse and un-identify it
    - respawntp, same as the above but teleports to crosshairs
    - karma, set a players karma
    - credits, set a players traitor/detective credits
    - minply, sets the minimum amount of players need to start a round
    - preventwin/allowwin, toggles ttt_debug_preventwin
    - roundrestart, calls ttt_roundrestart
    - proprechargetime, sets ttt_spec_prop_rechargetime
    - propforce, sets ttt_spec_prop_force
    And finally the following weapons:
    - AK47
    - AUG
    - Defib
    - Famas

    The Sprint is Wyozi Advanced TTT with weapon weight stripped, which is illegal to give away for free.
    Also, the equipment menu doesn't scroll properly, hit markers don't work, pointshop point kills don't work, and I haven't even tested the other since I am unsure if they will work as well.
