That build isn't out of date..
I think he means the speccy is out of date, because he's added a sound card since the one he posted.

Clean your case or get a new one.

    Upgrade to a single 780

Upgrade to an i5 4670k and an MSI GD65 motherboard

Get 1 more stick of RAM

I would just replace the RAM altogether, 8GB of 1600 isn't that expensive anymore.

He has what was a high performance system, every man and his dog has a 780 and an i5. He should get something with a bit more grunt, something bit more special, something that will last a few years.

No, wait for haswell-E. The GTX 800 series isn't going to perform that much better than 780 Ti, so he could get 2 or 4 of those now.

Getting 4 GPU's is pretty stupid unless you do compute stuff or play barely existant path-traced games.

I finally got the 780. I'm playing Just Cause 2, but normally my CPU and GPU are in the low 20's.

It's no worse than having 2 dual GPU cards. path traced games exist?

Check my post, it's a Speccy bug with Asus Z87 series mobos. We have almost identical PCs, lol.

    Updating Speccy should fix it.

Just got a Noctua NH-U14S which is doing a fine job at cooling my CPU. I'm getting lower temps clocked at 4.2GHz (50 C Load) than I was with my old cooler for 3.4GHz (60 C Load)

Just got The New Razer Blade 14" laptop with that killer resolution. I just got done with a game of Dota and a 3DMark full bench test, so the temperatures might be a little high.

Razor also added the oven top feature to the home button for those mid game vegetable stir fries that people often get into.
Heat temps show 123.8 degrees ferinheight on the power button. Your hands never go near it though.
