My save with my (ex) mass driver and my nuclear power relay stuff and my gorgeous jool mothership has become corrupted. Started a new save and this is my third launch, and I just have to marvel at KSP logic.

I haven't used any mods since the release of the career module. Just installed Interstellar and it seems to bring a lot of cool stuff. Any other mod worth installing?

Tried a change of pace from my normal space station crew craft, which are usually just a 2m tank under a plain 2m service bay. I'm liking the result so far, it handles like a dream. Using an all-phys config has made the monoprop engines palatable, and they can be rather nifty.

there's a colonizer mod thats built around karbonite, adds some really cool parts, idk if they fit with interstellar but interstellar itself is no longer being developed like it was for .23

KAS (kerbal attatchment system) is also very useful

    Edited:

karbonite is the star of .24 i think

Interstellar, KAS, spaceplanes +, karbonite, chatterer, the clouds one, and Kerbal Engineer. I think that's about what I use. I just put a Mun exploration craft that uses karbonite to refuel last night actually.

I wish I could set ASAS to follow the navball instead of an absolute angle. I want to to just stick to the horizon, not the angle it was at when I set it.

You could just get MechJeb and disable the autopilot bits and use Smart A.S.S. to keep yourself pointed at the horizon.

they added asteroids that you can land on and move around with a grabbing arm. they also added contracts and funds to career mode but they aren't fun.

they kept the old career mode as an option though.

oh and they added a tiny monopropellent fueled rocket engine and rocket fuel powered rcs thrusters

Is there a stress limit on the building before they collapse?

Surely you can't break down a building just by landing on the helipad?

"Tiny, hyper heavy object at the VAB"

My guess is that it'll take alot of damage to destroy the VAB, so It'll aslo accumulate over time too.

Mark 2 of the craft. Featuring some batteries for extra life support buffer, a less drastically-tapering form factor, an aft docking port, KAS toolbox racks, and a bit more deltaV. It loses a bit of the translational stability the mk1 had, but not dangerously so. At least, so far as I've been able to tell so far. Only costs 1408 more funds too, with the toolboxes installed.

How does installing a bunch of mods and the tech tree work together? I have like 6 different tech trees I can pick from and I have no idea if they're gonna contain parts from all my mods.

Does the modders just alter the Stock tech tree or something?

Holy shit they're really kicking themselves into gear.

Already planning 26 when 25 isn't even in experimental. Have they ever been this motivated before?

Parts mods should point to specific entries in the tech tree. Eg. X part is under Heavy Rocketry. This is how we did things for KW rocketry at least.

As far as mods that alter the tech tree specifically, I honestly don't know if they move-around/edit the various entries and their pre-reqs, Or deal with the parts themselves.

Does the tech tree mod you're using say anything about how it works?
