    Can we please add a couple of rules to this thread that says "No asking for release dates" and "No asking if a model is released yet"? It's infrequent but it's annoying as fuck when a forum lurker barges into the thread and makes a worthless post asking if an obviously WIP model is released yet.
    Sorry, mods are as open to suggestions as Garry.

    "Should we do that/include X in GMod/change X to Y?"
    "Users: No! Instead you should really do Z"
    "Whatever, we've already done X"

    they aren't really TF2-y either. the contrast of head detail to hand detail is sort of unfitting.

    I always thought that suit with the eyes looked incredibly stupid. Then again I can't stand a lot of MG's character design.

    i don't mind a lot of the older character stuff from peace walker and stuff. But the newer things really look sort of too busy and angular.

    Also what can I say, I love body groups. Definitely still needs some texture clean up, boots look weird in the viewport, but I like how the style is pretty close to in the film.
    Head is just something I yanked from PS2, I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to making face flexes and the mesh's lips are melted shut.

    so lt_c and nirrti made some msf soldiers awhile ago, but I thought they lacked a bit of variation. So using stuff taggart gave me, and some other things i made these.



    (Not all the variations/bodygroups but yeah you get my point.)

    Also ninja did face flexes since the originals didn't have them.

    Thankfully SOE stores all their textures for the weapons and chassis in one file.
    Prowler Master Race.

    Also if your using 3ds Max do a vertex weld at 0.01 strength and it'll get rid of that nasty looking crease in the front. It also works wonders for the Infantry models if you wanna seperate the physical armor from the rest of the body with the entity select tool. Or just clean up their nasty looking unsmoothable faces.

    I'll have you know my main is a Terran :1 . I just felt like portin' some spandex. (And not having to make rotatable wheels is cool too)

    I'll look into that welding thing for the next thing I compile, I don't feel like going back to the Magrider just yet.


    I also created the Terran Super Soldier (Plus the generous soul that unwillingly gave his wings for the glory of the Republic) Don't mind the blockyness of it, it gets smoothed out in blender.
