When I connected the tablet with my gmail, what does that actually do? Can google track what I browse, etc. Or is it just for the market and mail?
But really, the security loss isn't that big of a deal. There is no CarrierIQ scandal here.
So in the next few days ill be getting an asus transformer (tf101 not prime) from work free, what apps should i get/not get? is there anything i should stay away from like installous for ios?
I feel like I should stand up and clap after watching that video.
Oh yeah, so today my Comp Sci Teacher said that the Grade 12 Comp Sci Java course will have Android Development, so like yeah I can make some apps. Exciting indeed.
I'm gonna write a tablet-optimized c++ development suite for Android though. I use c4droid and it's good and constantly patched but not tablet optimized and it shows
My Comp Sci Teacher also said that he will be getting some Samsung Galaxy Tabs for the dev. Of course, we can use our own devices. I can use my mini pro
But by then, I'll get a new phone which would be better for dev and have a Quad Core
As in, the executables run as processes inside the terminal inside Dalvik. (I think. I have no idea if the terminal emulator actually exposes a true terminal without Dalvik.)
what the heck is happening
i didn't use my phone at all during that time
Usually it's a bug with the current ROM when Android OS starts eating up the battery. Are you on a stock ROM or custom?
What you're saying is like the windows command prompt emulating x86 along with an entire pc...
i'm looking into whether widgets are the offenders because it seems to be a common problem, I've removed all of them and I'm charging back to 100% before I go to bed, so I can tell whether that's them or not
I have a custom rom on my Xoom, it's an alpha of ICS but it's been on constantly since I last flashed it two weeks ago. I use it frequently and don't charge it more than twice a week.
It really makes a difference.
What's a good ROM for transformer prime, I know it's new and all, but I lost like 35 percent of battery life overnight, and I don't really like that. I could just turn it off thou I guess, but saving battery would be nice.
It's not that significant of an issue with modern batteries though. It will affect it in the long term, but since people get new phones every 2-3 years or even less I doubt it's worth worrying about.
It certainly happened to my old Droid 1. It hardly goes an hour now, shame too because it makes a nice remote.
Just wondering, what would you guys recommend for a new rom? I've been using a nightly of Cyanogen, but I've been having crashes a plenty, so it is time for a wipe.
Agree - MIUI
Disagree - Stay with Cyanogen (Stable build though)
Funny - Another nightly build of Cyanogen
Winner - Other (please state!)
I am using an SGS2 (Of course!) and I really want to use Ninphetamine kernel, because it fixes the sensitivity issues I have with my SGP Glas protector. Is it possible to use this with either MIUI or Cyanogen?
Thanks guys :)
It is possible - apart from with CM9 I think
My HTC Wildfire's display broke. Bought a new one, are they hard to replace?
I just got myself a Droid Razr. My other phone shit itself, and the Razr had a price drop down to $199, so I went for it. It's pretty fucking nice.
