Decided to have a go at playing vanilla survival legit. Spawned right on top of a large cave system that reached the surface. Plenty of iron and coal to be had, but monsters up the arse. Built a 5x5x2 house and a 3x2 moat surrounding it during the first few days. Going to add a fence next.
Dug a vertical mine shaft, only to come across the same cave network, and a ravine further down. Might use the lava down there to built a Nether portal for harvesting lava for a moat, once I get a diamond pickaxe.
If I kill all neutral mobs in an area, will they come back eventually, or do I have to go round them up from somewhere else?
Desperately needed food and pretty much wiped out the tiny population of pigs.
Wait, do ocelots spawn as well? There were five here just a second ago and one despawned RIGHT before I took the picture.
(And the laptop doesn't overheat when at 640x480. This screenshot is not cropped. It's nice, too.)
Are there any servers around today similar to the old Nationcraft server hezzy was involved in?
Does BANNED_USER still have a server?
How do people not recognize Doku's work by now. It's pretty noticeable.
just a little tip to everyone, burgervich decided to grief my server with tnt, also know as thesporega1, probably should ban him if you own a server.
Just returning the favor. :3 Also, I would install Worldguard so people can't use fire or TNT. Would be a good idea to get Hawkeye to find the grievers and rollback them too.
if i post a playable 0x10c leak will i get banned
Fun fact: Shortly after I took this picture, I returned to the nearby millenaire village to find all the villagers had decided that having heads were for the weak, and decided they would proceed to live without them.
Just found this
And a hole in a nearby mountain:
Just realised I built my farm on top of an absolutely massive cave system; I can hear the dark area noise everywhere and this one enderman keeps randomly teleporting right in front of me at my farm randomly, then teleporting nearly instantly back, presumably down below. Mobs also seem to be coming from certain areas, probably cave entrances.
First venture down yielded a large quantity of iron and coal. Cleared 3 dead ends, with 2 passages left unexplored; one going up and the other down.
Here's the farm and surrounding area
and here's the underground
I wonder, should crops drop XP when harvested? I mean, on one hand it's a task to achieve, and on the other hand plants are technically living things (referring to my XP as Souls theory). However, understandably farming XP isn't a good idea, but what if they dropped a separate kind of XP, either Farming Experience or Plant Souls, as opposed to Combat Experience/Animal Souls.
