Seeing historical monuments and such getting destroyed is really painful.
I do think putting all of them in the same basket is wrong though.
Judging individuals as a group is the logical thing for humans. There's just so many people of gypsy ethnicity that can't adapt to the ideas and views of the majority, the ones that have different views easily get burried underneath.
Why do people always bring race into the discussion instead of just saying prejudiced in general. Now all we're going to have is a petty argument about semantics.
they sell chainsaws at my town.
4 Hp for 400 Zloty!!!
400 zloty = 130 USD, though you could probably haggle it to 80.
People make up a group. People have opposing viewpoints, but often have small amounts of similar ones that bind them with other people. Thus, people in a group do not all think the same things.
The only logical thing you can deduct from a group of Gypsies is that they are all Gypsies.
But as for homeless Romanian gypsies I don't know for sure how common that is.
I suspect everyone these days, you never know what might happen
You guys are basing this information on a TV station that said it was possibly them.
I'm going to just leave this here:
yeah, gypsies burning down a castle doesn't really surprise me.
No-one is forcing them to move around and live of stealing, they do so of their own accord and teach their children to do the same (some break off and lead a normal life of course, but no-one has anything against those). They're nomads, it doesn't fit well with today's society and economical system, which leads to poverty, which leads to crime, but it's their choice to remain nomadic.
Also I don't care about your economic and social situation, it will never justify kidnapping children, locking them in cages by night and using them to steal by day (not saying all Gypsies do that, but it has happened, on several occasions).
FUCKING PIKEYS!!! :argh:
They also took my dads ladder and stole all the wheels from our cars.
sorry I'd rather you address the problems as they come rather than lumping it all together
You'll rarely, really rarely hear someone bash Romani people, or "Róm"s.
There's this language barrier working in favor of the problem, as english speaking countries only have one term for both variations, a "gypsy". That's as far as I know.
All that history gone.
It hurts my soul.
These are the people that took the bronze plates off of that war memorial and sold them as scrap.
I do agree that judging people based on the majority is not right. It seems useless to give this much weight when talking about those people, though. Even the well-living romani people will agree that the behaviour of the so called cigáns isn't right.
Whats a gypsie?
Alot of people fought for our country and sacrificed themselves for our freedom and they just come along and basically say a massive FUCK YOU and deface something like that.
This is the biggest reason i hate them, taking the ladder and the wheels on our cars i can get over but basically SHITTING on people who layed down their lives is unforgivable.
Yeah ,a lot of gypsies here in Slovakia, people try to but they make it a really hard time for us to respect THEM.
And all of this for "lolitsdoshinit"
I'll be right back, i gotta smash something.
holy shit i cannot believe how extremely racist everyone in this thread is being without acknowledging that ahahahahaha oh my GOD
And then I was grateful that there aren't groups like this in the US. Seriously though, are there gypsies in the US?
