We encourage starting new projects and exploring new ideas, even if that reveals how terrible we are at what we do. We encourage documenting the development process and learning from mistakes by creating postmortems.
Rust’s world is harsh. The environment is not kind. Bears and wolves will chase and kill you. Falling from a height will kill you. Being exposed to radiation for an extended period will kill you. Starving will kill you. Being cold will kill you. Other players can find you, kill you, and take your stuff. Fortunately for you, you can kill others and take their stuff. Or maybe you can make friends and help each other survive, using the game’s building tools to create a safe haven. We provide the tools. How players survive is up to them.
Built on a modified version of Valve's Source engine, Garry's Mod (or GMod for short) is a physics sandbox game. One of the great strengths of Garry's Mod is that it is incredibly modder friendly. This has lead to a thriving community that is always coming up with new addons and gamemode for everyone to enjoy.
Chunks is a block-based sandbox game built for virtual reality. Build cities and monuments while you're the size of a giant, then shrink yourself to walk inside your creations. Weave elaborate and hair-raising rideable roller-coasters around your world, or tear it apart with a bomb cannon. Share your constructions on the Workshop and download custom tools and game modes for endless fun in an infinite world. You must own a HTC Vive to play this game.
Facepunch.Steamworks is a C# Library for Steamworks. C# is meant to make things easier than c++, so it always seemed crazy that using Steamworks under C# was actually harder than using it in c++. So lets try to wrap it up in a way that makes it all easier.
