    And why is it that when i follow the tutorial for the New Killicons pack, I ether get my game having the same killicons, or a blank space where the icon should be?
    It's not sv_pure 1 proof. Protip Hectate, copy my directory structure!

    (except for the /ImprovedKillIcons/ part, make your own folder there)

    Yeah, I did. I did everything that he said, and I didn't test it on a sv_pure 1 server. And still, little to no results.

    "HUD/NewKillIcons/d_NewKillIcons" seems like the problem to me. Shouldn't it be "HUD/RevampedKillIcons/d_NewKillIcons"?

    I hexed the Tranquilizer Gun to the Ambassador for my personal use. It's perfect on the world model, but the view model's thumb clips through it slightly.

    EDIT: Upon looking through your tutorial, it seems your icons are pointing to the destination of "HUD/NewKillIcons/d_NewKillIcons" but shouldn't it be HUD/RevampedKillIcons/d_NewKillIcons?
    Dam! I guess I screwed up with it.
    I must change this and re-upload somewhere.

    ATENTION EVERYONE!

    There is an error on the folders name.
    You must change the 'RevampedKillIcons' folder name to 'NewKillicons'.
    It will be much more easy this way and make all space/blank/square turn into an icon. ^^

    Sure, any specific layout in mind?

    Oh if you're not installing ones from his pack then it will take a lot of manual work. You'll have to rename the d_images and dneg_images VTF and VMT from those old packs and edit mod_textures.txt to look for the correct new filename when it accesses the modded killicon.

    It's not that I had not tested in game yet, but it's that I had not changed all files names correctly. SO! It's working. I'll re-re-upload it to you guys download it.

    Think I have skipped by mistake the post you have sad it, sorry.
    You say to change the path of the "Newkillicons" folder to "vgui" instead of the "HUD" folder to make it work on sv_pure?

    I'm still working on an installer for my icons. It will support custom icons too. Then there'll be no reason not to use them both.

    Are you talking about the rimlighting (which I have toned down now) or the tan color itself?
    I think the whole thing should be darker, and the tan colour itself should be even darker.

    I'm just going to see how he did the shades.
    If you're into shades that are made out of cardboard than that's a good idea. Otherwise, use Sniper's shades as a base.

    Penguin UV mapped and custom textured in Softimage Mod Tool. Still can't find out what went wrong with getting the textures in tf2 though.



    As a dumb question, do I have to assign my texture to my model before I export it to an smd?
