One at max, usually less
Often 0, i don't have more money...
I only buy games that I know are good. So overall a year I'd say I buy 3-4 new games a year. Sometimes I buy used games if they're worth it. The only time I've bought 2 games in the same month was Metro 2033 and BFBC2.
I end up buying one major game and then a few indie ones. Bringing me to about 3.
Per month? I probably buy around 2-3 per year.
varies depending on whats out/ whats good.
I usually buy 1-2 a month, but this month i have bought 6. (Humble bundle / MH3)
Lost me on buy...
Really though, I haven't played any newer games in a while, there's just nothing new that I feel the need to buy and/or play. I played RA3 actually. Nice to see that EA lived up to their title and completely ruined the series after booting the original development team.
Like .1 games a month.
.2, I guess.
It just depends. Some times I see cool deals and I buy them, especially if its a game I've been looking at. May alone I've already bought four, but that only cost me 10 bucks.
Anyone who buys 5 or more games a month deserves a shovel in the face. For 1, there aren't even enough buy-worthy games out there. I'd rather not play the majority of them, specially since most are owned by EA.
I get 1 every 3 months
Cheap or indie titles? Probably one every other month, or less.
Big name, big budget titles? Probably one every six months.
Actually, I think the last full-priced game I bought was Arma 2.
1 a year.
I normally buy one every other 1 & 1/2 months, unless its a sexy deal by Steam and they make sexy prices like always, That ends up being like 6-40 games on the holidays.
Back when I was console gaming I would get like 2 or 3 games a month,
Varies depending on what's coming out or what Steam has on sale. Usually at least 1 per month.
1-2 a month
I never buy $60 games usually. Mass Effect was the last one.
But I take advantage of Steam deals a lot. So, like 2-3. I bought GTA IV and two things of GTA Classics.
And I'm thinking of getting Amnesia and Civ IV tomorrow. Then I'll be done for quite a while.
Why can't people make intelligent polls?
who buys games mensually?
Who doesn't buy games mensually?!
I only really buy games at the Steam Xmas/New Year sales, or if there is a good offer on.
The poll wasn't new games per month, it was games per month.
I KNOW FOR A FACT that there are at least 60+ Games that are worth buying.
Also, Saying For one and not having a two is frowned upon.
1 to 2 games per year.
Anywhere between two to five games a year.
Except for those big game packs that cost like $15.
If i'm lucky 1, If I'm super lucky 2-4.
I only get money every 2-4 months, so I gotta use it wisely (Examples of not using it wisely: Buying MW2)
Usually about 2, but there have been months where I buy any game that crosses my mind, which has been up to 7 or so.
Less than one. Fuck all good comes out. I tend to waste my money on a mediocre shooter though where I play the singleplayer once, go online for half an hour and then uninstall for ever.
Depends how much $ I have that month.
I buy 4-5 a year.
Probably 2-3. I usually get cheap indie games that sell for $5-$10, and are awesome. I can't remember the last time bought a full priced game.
1 or two every couple of months.
I've been preordering shitloads of games
