    Is this tested to work on multiplayer servers? Does the stuff you catch remove itself, or how does it otherwise disappear?
    Please dont let this addon die... 90% of the players on my server join just to fish!
    So yeah it works on multiplayer. The stuff you catch stays until you sell it.

    After the last update, you can't catch anything. No error, you just dip your bait down the water and nothing catches on. Please fix it, my players is getting mad. :I

    Fishing mod is a sandbox addon, not a gamemode!

    With the fishing mod you can do the following main things:
    - Catch fish
    - Store fish
    - Level up
    - Buy bait

    You can catch fish using various bait and and fish at different depths and you can only catch this and that when you reach certain levels.

    The table structure for catch look like this:

    If you come up with a catch, I'll review it and add it to the svn.

    To access the menu, press B while using the fishing rod.

    To release bait, press e
    To release catch, press r
    To reel faster, hold shift
    To reel slower, hold alt

    To get the rod, spawn it in the weapons tab.
    To get the shelf, spawn it in the entities tab.

    I read you couldn't ignite them anymore and you had to fish a stove, sorry about the dumb question. Also, I still need the grav gun thing to be resolved. Whenever I get close and aim at it with my gravity gun it auto sells it.

    This is an excellent mod you've made! If I rated it based on how much new life it breathed into Garry's Mod, I'd say it's on par with the Advanced Duplicator, Multi Parenting, and Gravity Designator tools.

    I seem to have one problem though. On the release post you said, "To get the shelf, spawn it in the entities tab." I have the fishing boat in my entities tab but not a shelf. Do you have to fish it up before it is listed?

    I also have a few suggestions on things you could add.

    I like the purchase menu in GoFish 2 because each menu button is a slowly rotating, 3-D view of each item you can buy and it would be nice to see something similar in your mod.

    Also from GoFish 2, I like the ability to purchase weapons and ammo and the fact that you start out with none. Maybe you could make it so that when you equip the fishing pole it strips you of your weapons and you must work to buy new ones and/or you could have a rare chance of fishing up weapons and ammo?

    By the way, the two things I just mentioned are the only things I like about GoFish 2. It's actually pretty difficult to swing your catch back up onto the dock by holding your pole with the gravity gun.

    My only other suggestion (other than the obvious one of adding more and more things to catch) is to make the buy menu so that you hold the key to keep it displayed, rather than having to click the close button.

    Hey Caps, I had fun playing on your server the other day even though we mostly just messed around with typing random half life 2 dialogue and hearing it pronounced. After a lot of testing, I really wish you could work on Fishmod and make it compatable with, well, any other camera mod. I tested all of the following addons with only that addon and Fishmod installed: Environments, Player Resizer, Gravity Designator, SharpeYe, as well of several others I can't remember. Even if you delete the conflicting addon, the camera view for Fishmod remains broken. I also tested and if you have any camera mod, such as SharpeYe, installed, even if you disable it, when joining your metabuild server the default firstperson camera view breaks and your view is stuck clipped a foot under the floor. So it sounds like the only way to join and play on your server is to delete everything inside of my garrysmod/garrysmod folder and join with no addons installed. It would be great if you could find a way to fix these issues. Thanks for reading.

    Incredible add-on! I like your future plans for an inventory system as that would really top it all off. I'm going to attempt to combine the money system into a universal money system that can be used for... who knows if you have custom RP shops or other addons that make use of money it would be awesome to get them working in unison.

    I'm definitely looking forward to your future ideas with this add-on!

    yes but the bait can't really be scripted like the fish can. it's defined in the same code as custom fish

    Sorry to bring up an older mod but I love it :D. I was wondering, would it be possible to set custom catches to let say catch a weapon. I.G. With the right bait, a player could fish out a working crossbow. I was just wondering if it was possible. *total newb at lua :)* and if it is possible, how might I go about doing it.     No, it wont buy bait. I have this set up on my darkrp server and I have money, I have leveled up and the bait just wont work. I click it and nothing happens.
