    Real cars don't slide this much, maybe on some slick ass road or ice, but not normally. It's not even that they slide, they glide along the surface. Hell, take them off a ramp and you'll see them glide through the air for a bit, tilting back and fourth slightly.

    It's an ass to drive them anywhere really.
    Still better than the HL2 vehicles

    It isn't the hitboxes, it's the physics mesh. There's a difference. Hitboxes are used for traces to determine if a trace is going to hit it; physics meshes define the shape of the physical object and how it will react.
    Read the thread and i wasn't the one to call them hitboxes, sakarias referred to them as that and i clearly don't have much of an idea.

    About the sliding problem
    After a certain speed the wheels just don't have enough friction to change speed on the car which results in that the car continues in the same direction until the driver have managed to counter it (by drifting).
    I'm not sure this problem can be solved by changing the physical properties on the wheels (at least it seems not).
    Basically the wheels aren't like real wheels because they are just reconstructed to look and work like wheels but they are just bad replicas if you compare it to RL wheels. Still I will try to solve this problem with some kind of anti slide algorithm.

    This is a really great mod however I can't seem get the 3rd person working at all (on a listen server), and the same for the HUD.

    Currently making a custom speedometer for it and a matching tachometer (that actually reads the exact/correct speed).

    Also a question about the cars used, Do the models need the wheels removed on them or set to a special bone? GTA IV cars have been ported already and those would be great to use.

    Actually your speedos may well be correct, but they are scaled so I think the rotation amount is getting messed up with that.

    At 1680x1050 100mph reads as 120.

    Maybe making wheels heavier would help? I don't know, didn't test it out yet.

    GTAIV Cars? Heck yes, if you can get those to work you that would be AWESOME!

    Also, the HUD is squished horizontally on my screen, is there any way to even it out?

    I'm sure once it's popular you'll see the brackets (ex. PHX | WIRE | Scars) hehe.

    I'm mostly interested in trying out the fuel options for my servers more relaxed RP. The only other thing I had was the fueled mod that required life support to set up.

    Hm...it would be appreciated if we were given the ability to spawn these with the "vehicles" or "entities" tabs... whipping out the tool gun every time my car... ah... experiences an unfortunate accident :ohdear: gets annoying quickly.

    Since you can have flat tires... maybe a spike strip tool? Would be useful for cops on RP servers... but how to restrict it so only they can use it.... quite the conundrum
