Salutations.

I am in great need of a decent, good looking Phase 1 (or phase 2, if at all possible) Clone Trooper, such as the ones here:



Such a model already exists, and unfortunately, having been uploaded in 2005, is seriously lacking in quality:



I mean, just look at the bloody state of it... A new model, preferably with the colour schemes depicted above, would be fantastic.

I am, however, not sure how this model can be improved; better textures? Improved rigging (or whatever)?

Few games carry a decent version of the model, but there is one: here is a link to a mod, released this year, for Star Wars:Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy. In it, there are a large variety of Star Wars models, from clone troopers to Jedi. Perhaps such a model could be taken from it?

I know this is a large request, what with the mod and all, so, as a liitle bonus to those who may have read this far, I present the suprisingly well done model of Count Dooku wearing a hat:

Phase II armor is pretty awesome. I don't know, but something about it's slightly more appealing than Phase I.

Alright, I started over with a new clone model because the one I was using before was shitty.
Check out the new one.
It's even got different skins.

Phase 1 is where it's at.

I think Phase II was intentionally made to look like a transition between the Clone Trooper and the original Stormtrooper, looking like a primitive Stormtrooper. It's definitely slightly less blockier than the Phase I, but that's just me.

Good, good. Can't wait for it!

One tiny little issue, however; it wouldn't at all be possible for you to slightly elongate the 'chin' of the helmet? It just looks a tad short.

Of course, there is no great need to do so. The model is brilliant as it is, and I think it may be rather unfair of me to expect further alterations to be made to it. Ah well, it is of course your decision; if it makes things more complicated or time-consuming, then I'd say to just leave it the way it is.

Any chance of some new vehicles to go with them? The StarWars pack had a LAAT gunship, but the collision was terrible.

I'm not too good with custom Phymodels, so no, not really.
You can have that speeder from the Models/Skins pimpage thread though.

Rigging is finally done.


All I have to do now is port the extra textures for the different colors.
Oh, and add the Phase 2 helmet.

I forgot to mention it has fingerposing.
