    The waiting is over! A map that started about 8 months ago finally got released to the public.

    The map consists of train tracks, a lot of water, a lot of space to build, some smaller rooms with doors and many more.

    Here are some pics:

    Sooooo... Here are the official download links:

    Version 2:
    * Fixed the trackswitches, now they work perfectly with any kind of sliders.
    * Some HDR improvements
    * Added another tunnel and made some of the rooms a little bigger :P

    Edit: Are there any train prefabs? I can't find any in the map.

    just got done trying it out and........... its awesome! tracks are great for high speeds build areas are wonderful singnal system is great. on a scale of 1-10 this map gets a 10 from me! awesome job!

    Just booted it up, noticed that the garage doors are physgunable. But the buttons reset it, so its not a big loss, just annoying ^^

    Most admin mods should prevent players from doing that :)

    Yea, but not everyone likes to play Gmod online ;P So no point in having an admin mod, other then to increase load time more :P

    There is a cleary visible option you can set when starting a multiplayer and singelplayer game. "Limit physgun". Toggle it on.

    Regardless: 2 Suggestions and one small problem.



    Add a turntable from the garages onto the track, so its easier to get trains onto it. (Thats the circle)



    Add a track inside the garage to build the train on. (That also links up with the one outside, to allow us to move the trains onto the tracks, however I'm not sure if its going to be possible the way you have the garages set up.) Also a bit more lighting could be useful. Also it wouldn't hurt to make it so you can either raise or lower the tracks inside, so we can get under the train without having to noclip. Also maybe make the garages slightly bigger.

    Bugs:



    Doesn't work with the Phx sliders, but it does with the train wheels oddly.

    EDIT-

    No there is not. Check again. Only settings are: No damage, No PvP Damage, Allow Noclip.

    So troll someplace else please.

    EDIT2- Just noticed another bug:



    I doubt that is intended since there isn't a button near that "invisible" door to open and close it.

    It's an areaportalwindow.. I should've made that black aswell.
    The thing with the train tracks in the smaller garages.. I had that idea but it didn't turn out too good so I got rid of it

    The phx sliders aren't that good anyways, and I'll think you'll find the inner one does infact work with the tracks, oh and the reason he made the areaportalwindow a door material is because it fitted in at the time when he added it.

    Looks pretty good, from the pictures though it looks like the texturing could use a little work.

    I'll download when I get home and post a better review then.

    Its a buitifly constructed map, but the train junctions with the PHX sliders is a massive let down :(

    None the less keep up the great work :)

    Yeah it definitely has a limit physgun box, it was added to gmod some time ago.

    So, are there any sliders that work with the tracks? The one from GM_Botmap works, but the train will derail at the crossing plates.

    I might work on the problems with the sliders later.. Should be easy to fix :P
    I don't really like to release a second version of a map that quickly but this is something that's needed :C

    Some updates for the "second" version of this map!!



    Small changes to the "train building room"


    Tunnel to the docks added, old room moved to the right.


    Added some space to different places. Including the small garages, the 2 garages at the big ramp are a lot bigger now, the other 4 have been made a little longer.


    "Fixed" the trackswitches, they work perfectly with all kinds of sliders now, also added stoppers.
