Its not a megathread i wanted to make a place so some one can update regularity without having to make more threads. Plus this help out when looking for the latest drivers and when you do a search you don't come up with 2 or 3 different threads about the drivers.

As long as you keep updating the OP with newest drivers, I may bookmark this.
May come in handy once my 260 comes in!

    P.S. I CAN'T FUCKING WAIT!
GOING FROM AN HD 2600 TO A GTX 260 HOLY SHIT!

Do the new windows 7 drivers work with OpenGL based games? Quake 3 etc games weren't working with anything other than the original windows update test drivers before.

You can still get the latest drives. But I don't think it will improve on anything.

Maybe because 185 is newer than 182?

it's still newer, maybe they added in some optimizations but weren't sure if it was stable so they released it as a beta

Baww, why is Win 7 still on the 181.71 drivers. :/

If anything they should be at least at par with the rest of the drivers.

The new beta drivers came out, the ones that support AO. BUT, it says for almost every single one of my games... "This application does not support AO". It does that for almost all of my games, even ones that use the same goddamn engine. How do I force it?

EDIT: What the hell, CSS appears unaffected by them!

Ohhhh, they have to have custom profiles.

Through the control panel, though I can't get it to work at all, anti-aliasing, anything.

Ambient Occlusion seems to work fine for me. Only thing is, it grinds WoW down to below 5fps on some rare occasions and it makes Source games flicker all the walls (wallhack drivers much?)
