    Fix your spelling errors.

    But you have to assign the campfire to a slot (hover over it, press 1)
    Then select the fire by pressing 1, and click twice.

    I plaid this gamemode for few hours and I've got some feedback for you: First - there is too much food from one human. When I kill 3 humans and cook their meat, I'll get enough food for a hour of play. That isn't really good. Many people never hunted any animals, just killed another player for food. Next thing I don't like is: bows. Players need a lot of materials to get one, and even more to get arrows. problem is that for an arrow, player needs a stone. And it's much easier to throw stones at other players than bother with getting a bow. Make them more powerfull > one hit = death or let players make arrows only from wood. Hope that will help. There could also be some spawn protection so players won't get killed right after game starts.

    uh hello i understand this gamemode but i cant seem to turn fences when itry to place them, help? my friends seem to take joy and overrunning my fortress with a single wall, so what do i press please?
    also epic gamemode.

    All people do is kill each other. I can't blame them though, why would they kill and cook a bunch of birds, or smack a tree for 2 minutes when they can just throw a rock at me?

    can someone please tell me if/ how you can rotate fences?? i am so sick of assholes killing me for no reason other then they feel like it also could you please make crows nocollide with other players or remove them completely? people always glitch you by flying on to your head

    Are the birds everyone keeps complaining about NPCs or dead players? Do you change back into a bird and get hunted when you die? I've never played the gamemode. I have tried asking termy58 but I am tired of waiting for a response. Sooner I get the answer the sooner I can put the final touches on the map and send it off for final compile. It is almost done! Hurray! Too bad you guys will not see it until the contest is done. I think that is what I was told anyway.

    You don't drop a fire kit on the floor you use it (build it)

    players become birds when they die and they seem to enjoy flying into other player's heads cuasing them to not be able to move

    [CHANGE:] Make it so that birds can't collide into people, until they die (It has happen they stop them from moving until they die.)

    I am finished with my part of the map. Now it is just a matter of Night-Eagle doing some gamemode related something or another. If anyone has a way to contact him tell him to get signed in, we only have 7 hours to go.

    I'm his stalker, he's been heavily modding the game, resulting in interesting stuff. People actually have to fight for their food right now (I kill people on sight to actually survive)

    There NEEDS to be another server for this... the only one I can find I have terrible ping in and I can't do anything. But it is such a cool gamemode...

    Ok, now I think the map has what it needs to work on Winter Survival 2. The only problem is Night-Eagle isn't responding and Termy58 is off line. I need some to test the map on the gamemode because my computer is to weak. First one that says yes will get the job. I will also require that if any problems are noticed you will give me a screen shot of the problem. Who wants to be the first one to get a look at the official map of Winter Survival 2? No giving the map to anyone else or running it on a server, this is just a test and it will move on when I feel confident it works with Winter Survival 2, this will be a huge step in that direction(or a huge step away).

    Post here, I might not notice a pm, I will pm you a link to the map when I see that someone has requested the job.

    Oh yea, quickly please, I would like to have this done and out the door tonight... this morning, I got caught up and I don't know if they will try to take my computer. I would like to get a working map out to you lovely people before that happens.

    If it's not that hard then why do you ask?

    Also, I don't think there is fence-turning abilities... but Night should add it, Pretty useless against cannibals unless you're in that one teeny valley place

    We have a new map coming later today.

    By youaremea, I also added a map system so that your map can run a script just for it.

    For instance in youaremea's map we added a some functions so that every round 1 bridge is susceptible to falling. Falling from the icebridge is epic in my opinion.

    Interested in seeing that map.
    I'm mapping myself, but I'm fearing it'll all be a fail because I'm using a lot of displacements.

    I've never used a map totally made out of displacements before :(

    Just so long as the displacements aren't high power/small size it should be fine. The higher the power of the displacement the more it will pull your speed down. Same for having a lot of small ones, one large one is better for performance.

    Then again build your map on a really slow computer like I am and you will know it will not lag other players if you can get it running. I can run everything at 10fps. It looks awful but I know everyone else will blow though it.

    I did not post any pictures of the bridges falling because it would be better if you experienced it firsthand than in a picture. We will be testing the map soon and releasing as soon as I am confident that any bugs have been identified and fixed. In game it has a blue tint that does not seem to show up in screen shots, it just doesn't look as good without it but Termy58 already committed me to posting pictures.
