Interesting. Take the jungle environment from Crysis 1, mix it into the city environment of Crysis 2, and you get Crysis 3. 1+2=3. They sure know their math.

But the Ceph was wiped out completely from NY, and the place still had a lot of civilians. It makes no sense to quarantine it.

I'm still not following. All of the Ceph were wiped out in NY at the end of 2. How are they back? Unless they came from the other cities that were under attack, this doesn't make any sense.

Either the Ceph are winning the war and made it back to New York OR
They know some kind of weapon is being made to destroy them there most likely to do with CELL OR
They just randomly appear to fight everything and everyone

It'll be as linear as Crysis 2. It's still the same city, so sure you'll have three "different approaches" but you can't truly try your own shit.

Doesn't seem like the graphics are going to drastically improve, but I suppose that is bound to be the case. Still I hope they add some extra stuff for PC to make it a little more sexy.

Well, I'd like to see more info on the plot, but if it does turn out to be a mixture of Crysis 1 and Crysis 2 I'll be getting it.

For me, that would be Battlefield 2 Bad Company, 90% of what I played was basically a small covered walkway.

Crysis 2 is could not possibly be the most linear game you've ever played and It's not a shit game by any standard, you're just comparing linearity to that of Crysis 1 in which it's outdone. Crysis 2 did force you through a good few buldings with only one way but that's because the game takes place in a city, in the many open parts you could approach the game whatever you wanted. Compared to hundreds of other games Crysis 2 is not very linear at all.

Agreed. Fighting the aliens, it's just "blaaagh calamari everywhere, shoot them before they shoot you". With the more human Koreans, who were often unaware of your presence...

It already has the best graphics on the market. What more can you ask for? Let me guess. Better graphics for PC. DX11, hi-res textures and models from the very start.
