So, I've taken over the farm not far from spawn, im going to try and get it going then move on. Already had a couple people try to attack me.

I'm calling it "Hershel's Land", get off it

Thanks to the nether, it only takes me 10 minutes to travel to spawn instead of hours. Today, made a journey to spawn to only die from lava as I got near spawn. Fucking spawn man, fixing paths is hard with lava everywhere.

Carry a bucket of water at all times if near fire.
That rule has saved me quite a few times in Minecraft.

Honestly my favorite part on 2b2t is building a base near (maybe 3k or 5k away) and thinking of unique ways to keep it defended/defend it. Maybe have to rebuild it every once in awhile, keeps things exciting and fun. Building that far out just sounds like, to me, SP with a chat that's usually full of spam.

A server like this would be more fun if not for X-ray hacks, not so much in just hiding bases from looters, but if they have them then there's no sense in making elaborate booby traps. I'd rig up my base so even Indiana Jones couldn't get his ass in there.

Yeah, back when I played all the time I always logged out with a bucket of water in my 1st hot-bar spot, just in case I logged back in and suddenly lava.

Turns out I'm lucky as fuck. When I logged off I had a stack of each mushroom and some bowls.

Strings are arrays, which means direct comparison is difficult. string.equals is a function that compares the two arrays entry by entry. You can overload the == operator in certain languages (e.g. c++) to make it so == when used on two string objects will actually run the equals() function automatically. This is sometimes seen as bad practice though.

There's an annihilated base at -2000 2000 that I accidentally teleported into. It's a really good starting point for venturing to uninhabited territory.

Oh right,Well I was at a place that looked very similar to that a few months ago,it was abandoned and some of it had been destroyed.I think it's the same place but has just been rebuilt and remodeled.

I have a base around 1.5k away from spawn and there's plenty of animals
but you'll probably have more luck finding a couple bones, growing tallgrass, getting seeds and growing wheat for bread (which grows pretty damn fast)

There's a small farm just outside of spawn that has a ton of wheat in it, further out there's random settlements that often have working farms.

I've been sitting in one slowly building up wood and food.

It's supposed to be an object oriented language, == should compare the object with another object and not compare the references.

Or you could use a good language like C++, where you could go *a == *b for value checking and a == b for reference checking.

Back in October I came here with some friends, and we settled out a FAR away, used non nether highway travel and i have no nether portal linked to my base.

They have all but abandoned me since then, I'm left with my keep and their abandoned structures which are slowly being completed.

I've been out there alone for a few months at minimum.

A preview of my base from the font, mob spawner in front of my keep and almost finished lighthouse to the right.


A unfinished chapel, might finish that later.


A view of my wheat and melon farms, bud switches auto harvest watermelon, and the wheat farm goes down MANY layers.


Enchanting table to the left of me, also a look at the back of my keep.
Also you can see my 100% efficient cobblestone generator. It has 0 loss.


A huge field for building behind my walls. One of my friends was going to build a village outside but never did.


The other side of the field, also the bridge connecting my other friends smaller base.

Someone was using wireless redstone, so I attached the switch to a dispenser filled with arrows, every time someone turned theirs on, mine turned it right back off again.


The end tunnel to my mob grinder, has two modes: loot, and one hit XP gather via sticky piston floor.
