Hey guys, basically this is my newest track it's semi work in progress but I don't want to change it too much. Maybe just mix and master it a bit better if you guys can hear any problems that stand out.
SO, yeah taking and comments and criticism to finish this off.

Sounds good, the intro's a little weird in my opinion but that's probably just me. The drop should take a few milliseconds less long and the transition between the drop and the full on start again feels dull. It's got potential, I'll listen to it a few more times, maybe I'll pick up some more stuff.
Keep me updated, this has got potential :)

Yer I wasn't too sure about the intro myself but figured I'd see how it went. I'll fix that right up and I'll try brighten up the transition there. Will be updating this thread till the track is DONE.
Thanks! My mixing was a bit dodgy this time round I can easily admit that but I'll give it a polish for the final product. Also this was my first ever attempt at mastering too. I used to pay a real cheap guy to do it. It wasn't perfect but it got the job done. Since then I've decided to learn to do it well enough for internet released myself.

I suggest that next time, you focus on less complicated and cluttered stuff. Electro House and House in general is meant for dancefloors. You need a groovy chord progression (not in the classical way, it only has to sound good) and solid instruments. You don't need to make it seem like 20 melodies at once.
A chord, a lead and bass is all that you really need. Other glitches, sounds, effects, pads here and there, little sounds that make your track stay glued together. White noise is good too but don't overdo it.
Automations are a key so take your time figuring out a groove. Don't be afraid of spending 20 minutes on making sure an automation of pitch or whatever parameter you're manually controlling sounds perfect for you.
Always mix every instrument while keeping in mind the others. Don't let similar central frequencies conflict. It brings muddiness into your mix, and mastering becomes almost impossible.
Simple EQ-ing and compression on each instrument should do it. Don't compress more than 3.1 ratio because that might just as well be limiting so no reason to do that, cut a bit more of conflicting frequencies or tone down the instrument.
Err, what more. Oh reverb. Don't overdo it. Don't. Subtle delays and reverbs are the key for gluing stuff together (where your artistic sense sees fit). Reverbs under 200hz are to be treated extremely careful and better to be avoided. It can mud your mix in 2 seconds.
Get some nice ~100 - 120 dollars headphones. Sennheiser HD280 pro is pretty flat for its price. Beyerdynamic DT880 250ohm version (+ a simple audio interface) is a killer, you don't really need more.
Forget people that tell you mixing and mastering is only to be done on monitors. Cans can get you pretty well too. You only have to listen to alot of professional music to see how it sounds and how your product should sound, so you don't overdo the bass or whatever frequency isn't as flat as needed on the headphones you buy.
Stay away from Monster Dr Dre blah blah.
