Possibly one of the most backwards trains of thought I've ever seen. I don't see how people with that train of thought can even possibly think they're not being racist, when they themselves are admitting it's a racist stereotype that they're hating them for.
That's like saying you don't hate black people because they're black, but you hate black people because they all steal bikes and like chicken.
More generally, "I don't hate [ethnic group] because they belong to that group; I hate [ethnic group] because they fulfill every stereotype associated with that group."
It's so circular it's dizzying to try and follow.

You have 2 types of alleles (Gene types), dominant, and recessive, Dominant is represented by a capital letter, And recessive is a non-capital letter. When you have 1 dominant gene and 1 recessive gene the dominant gene will be the trait that shows the most in your physical appearance, and only if you have 2 recessive genes will the traits on that gene show. When you reproduce with a family member you share much of the same alleles, and basically when you have a child horrible genetic diseases that wouldn't commonly show up because they are recessive, begin to show up because there is more chance of having 2 recessive alleles.

Ethnicity generally goes hand in hand with race.
And yes there are different races. Asians, Whites, Blacks, are different races. It doesn't necessarily mean they are any smarter than each other but they are separate things

except if you actually read the article I'd linked then you'd see that that's not true because the genetic variation in people varies more between individuals and lineages than it does between races. Race is just an illusion.

Mate, I live next door to gypsies. My entire neighbourhood is full of immigrants. Somalis, Russians, Gypsies etc. Well-behaved folk. Criminality is most greatly common amongst the poor and destitute, not the sole province of any one race or ethnicity.
Ever considered the reason they behave badly in Eastern European towns is because they live in shit conditions and are treated like shit? But of course not! Eastern Europe is world-renown for being socially progressive and tolerant (!)

Scientifically, they are categorized from one another based off three interconnected things and what commonalities lie within them: genotypical characteristics, phenotypical characteristics, and ancestral origins (geographical, cultural, etc.). We use it every single day in forensic science, biomedical research and therapy, and numerous other such fields.

So do I, and just letting you know that they get free houses, free computers, free water and electricity. They certainly have better life than majority of Eastern Europeans. But guess what they do? They actually rip everything apart and sell the cables and scrap away, then they complain again. They even get a chance for free books and scholarship, but only like 5% of children respond. They're nothing but a burden and majority of people agree.
Also hah you're comparing Finland ones and Balkan ones.

I don't think anyone in this thread hates Romani people as a whole. It's just the term gypsy can be very broad. Most of the time when they say they hate gypsies it just means that they hate people who live off the state, commit crime, live in other peoples property without permission and have no respect for people outside of their small communities.

First off I'm American. I've never had to deal with any sort of gypsies in the manner that most of the people in this thread are describing: ("Thieving, vandalizing, robbing, kidnapping scum") Now before you say "you've never dealt with them fuck off", consider the following.
From what I've read in this thread alone it seems that Europeans believe that most gypsies are an inherently bad people, mooching of the state/hard-working folk for all sorts of benefits, nothing but scum; stealing your bicycles, ruining your properties and whatnot. From what thisispain and a few others have said, this hatred goes as far back as at least 200-400 years. Some of you guys say you don't hate the ones that branch off and actually leave that lifestyle, the ones who go for an education and live an honest working life.
Think about that, you guys are some of the problem as well don't you think? You would like for them to assimilate into modern society, to stop living their shitty lives with their shitty culture that seems to clash with contemporary values; to settle down and find jobs and put their children through school. Do you really expect them to try to assimilate into a society that utterly despises them? Does that make any sense to you that they would even make an attempt? You guys aren't helping the situation at all. Your governments provide the gypsies with benefits as shown by Khaoos, but as seen from the videos posted and from the testimony of posters here, that doesn't do a thing for them. It's the equivalent of a parent giving a crying child a toy in the hopes that it'll shut up and leave the parent alone, the equivalent of shutting your eyes and ears until the loud noise shuts up; it's only a temporary solution.
The only way that I can see for the gypsies to change their lifestyle is if you guys help them, make them feel part of the society at large. "Well how are we gonna do that jack?" You can start by quitting that shit of dismissing every news story that comes up in which a gypsy is involved committing a crime as "that's just how they are" or "gypsy scum".

You know why blacks fought so damn hard for equal rights? Because they felt they had a chance. They felt involved in the society at large, and more importantly, they felt people actually gave a damn. According to what I've seen in this thread, you guys aren't exactly providing that sense of belonging to the gypsies.

No offense, but it really seems retarded to me to continue arguing when I just know that there is no way for you to understand it. I mean you can think what you want if you think we're oppressing them or not giving them any chances, but I just know that's huge load of bullshit.
