An original Xbox? I wish I could. Mine has gone downhill over the year. It seems the traces for the power button on the motherboard are corroding (which is apparently a common problem). I can see corrosion on some traces. I'm not sure exactly where I could solder on some wires to bypass the traces though unfortunately, and the pictures online don't appear to be for my specific motherboard making it much harder.

If I could soft mod a new Xbox I could just move the 40 GB drive I have in this one to the new one and everything would be solved. I miss playing my original Xbox games.

It gets hot. You won't get as high of an OC as you would on SB.

But this is the first fab on the 22nm process.

Actually, the overclocking reviews I read said they got slightly higher clocks off IB. Much higher temperatures - 95C on water cooling! - but still somehow stable.

Which doesn't bother me - I'm not really an overclocker. I'll be ordering my G55 ASAP.

Well that's kinda what I meant by not getting as high of an OC. 95C on water is really bad.

    4. Opinion issue on this. Regular users don't need to see the filesystem.
Now I agree to all the other ones (even though I am an IOS hater) but the open filesystem is incredibly important for an average user
I mean every person sometimes needs to copy his/her documents/music/books/whatever to their device, and doing this on Iphone requires an insane amount of custom apps (or a jailbreak)
    -edit-
And don't say no one needs it, I use the filesystem on my phone and tablet daily

iCloud stores your stuff, and you can use iFunBox for SSHing without needing a jailbreak

I agree it should never be removed but there is nothing wrong with a simplified version over the top of that. Windows 7 Libraries for example.

However using only the simplified version on something like windows would cause problems because unlike iOS it has a lot more problems with software that requires fixing and will sometimes require you to access files for that software.

On a phone it is a great idea.

I got the chance to run one of those watt meters on my laptop today, so I did some benchmarks on the GPU.
    Slightly surprising.
    Code:
Wifi card and battery charging disabled.

Trackmania 2 Benchmark, Very Nice preset

    Integrated GPU:
    Average Wattage: 40w
    Peak Wattage: 49w

    Dedicated GPU: Performance mode
    Average Wattage: 48w
    Peak Wattage: 54w

    Dedicated GPU: Power saving mode
    Average Wattage: 28w
    Peak Wattage: 34w
Pretty neat how my 6630m on power saving mode saves more power than the Integrated on my Mobile i5-2430m.

    Edited:

I really really really reallllyyy want the Nokia N900.
It's a Linux PC with phone features.
It's so fucking perfect for me.

    Those arguments were pretty bad.

Idea was good on both sides but it ended with who can scream MINE IS BETTRR more loudly.

Phones are now good enough to browse web, game slightly and edit documents, crop/slightly edit pics etc. but they won't overcome computers for a long time.
