Seperating from the general thread, this thread is for users who are tired of the TF2 Warehouse site, want their items back or to actually have the ability to use their credits, and for those of us who think the whole thing is a fucking sham. How come when you sell items the bots work without a hitch but if you try to purchase something suddenly OMG IT DOESN'T WORK and then this month, due to so many complaints, it's suddenly OMG WE'RE GETTING DDOSED? Frankly, if it's not a scam I want my fucking items back. Triddin, you've obviously proven to be an inept cunt. Fuck you and fuck your website, give me back my fucking items, and fuck off. To everyone else? Fuck that site, and stop using it if you're already using it. Finish out any remaining transactions you have if possible and just stop using it.

To add insult to injury, a bunch of users complained they got ripped off by the site, and a guy with a bunch of sockpuppet accounts came in and started trolling. Wow, great fanbase you have there Triddin, either you got some really bad shills and should probably look into that or, assuming your site is actually legit, have the worst fanbase ever.

Who else has had a problem with TF2 Pawn Shop?

Shut the fuck up and enjoy to be lucky enough to actually be able to sell items, unlike everybody else.

I usually hear about it the otherway around; you can buy everything but they are always overstocked and you can't sell ANYTHING.

You're the only one that's unable to purchase items here, either by the fact that you always use it when servers are overloaded, either by the fact that we are unable to sell anything because everything is overstocked.

In both situations it's not their fault.

imho the website needs more maintaining. more people should look over the website and create more bot accounts. should help giving more room and stop the queues from overcrowding.

because the one and only problem i have is the huge overcrowding and such small maintenance.
then again the bots with the overstocked items can just be cleaned up of the overstocked product by 3/4 of the amount.

I'm the only one here, yeah, but you should see their forums. There are tons of people who complain that they sold their items, went to buy something, and then the bots ignored their attempts to purchase anything. THEN the admins claimed it was someone DDOSing the site, but this has been going on for two months now and they have figured out a way of stopping it.

If they're not competent enough, they need to return our items and shut down the site. If they are, they need to fix the problems. Both problems. My problem in purchasing and your problem in selling.

    Edited:

And to add to the conspiracy theory, check out the fact that you guys can't sell stuff because it's considered "overstock". The site only accepts things that are worth a fuck, you know, things they can sell themselves.

Sounds hipsterish, but it really lags nowadays and is filled with shit no one wants, so it clogs it.

    http://forum.tf2wh.com/discussion/21...ur-loyal-users.
A lot of posts here talk about people feeling it's a scam because they were able to trade their items in, and then couldn't purchase anything.

There are a few other threads as well, but most of those degenerated into users who support TF2 Warehouse trolling the upset users and the upset users raging. Not to mention that one is the one at the very top of the forum and the one most people see right now.

    Edited:

Some guy is claiming now the bots aren't online, but he's not an admin so who knows what he's going on about.

I wanted to sell some crap I don't use to the wh to buy a dashin, but after reading this thread I'm not even touching the site.

Into the future, we'll additionally be implementing a program for selected "official" TF2WH crafters to craft overstocked items into usable items. We're still planning how exactly this will work though.

Seriously, I've been fucking mashing the "trade" dialogue, to no avail. I have 3 items reserved, and it refuses to function.

Do you think this is funny, you damned robot? I'll choke you to shutdown with these muscly American hands.

Robots are apparently offline, according to someone on their forums... I think I already said that. Anyway, apparently all the bots are listed here; if they're green, they're online. Notice the names are all grey, for offline.

All I have is 500 credits that was given to me as a bonus for joining during beta or something. It never really interested me, so I didn't use it after logging in once.

Now to try to and get a cheap item for free but ultimately giving up because it never freakin works!

I personally love it when it works. I hate dealing with traders so I am glad that I can sell my items for a defined price and instantly get what I want. But yeah the problem is that it rarely works. Very buggy almost everything is overstocked.

Agreements. Although I've been trash talking it a lot, it's enjoyable when it's functional.

God Skunky you sure do get pissed off easily.

TF2Wh is slow as fuck, the sky is blue, world keeps spinning. So what if the site ate a hat of yours or something? Either it gets worked out in a day or two or you lose something that doesn't really matter at the end of the day. It's not like you're being screwed out of anything of value here, if you even are being screwed at all. TF2WH is a pretty cool site and I have no reason to think that it's a scam of any kind.

Calm down and wait it out. Either it gets worked out or it doesn't.

I've always made my interactions with the warehouse as speedy as possible, because I know that if it is a huge scam they'll run off RIGHT after I put anything of value in.

Also, I'm not sure if anyones ever successfully sold an unusual with the commissions system.
They just sort of sit there. Forever.

    Buy all the reclaimed metal

3 reclaimed metals are 500c less than one refined, so every 9 reclaimed metals you get one "technically" free

I use it from time to time, but it tends to be broken as fuck with nothing in sight being a cure.

Sure, they speak of aid. But it takes an eternity for it to happen, and odds are it doesn't work.

Doesn't help they're planinng to add "Pay us Money, Get credits" to it.

Warehouse Ultimate was bad enough, man.

Are you sure those failed trades we not the result of the update Valve did migrating all trading to Steam? A lot of users including myself were unable to select which inventory to use, maybe the bots suffered this as well? Since they are non aware you can't exactly blame them for derping to shit when they cannot complete their automated transaction.

I've been using the warehouse for months now with minimal frustrations. The only real problem is the overstock. They need to drop those god damned overstocks and let those shitty hats no one likes become dirt cheap. Then hat prices would be reflective of people's opinion rather than current "HUR DUR ALL HATS ARE 1.3 ref, HUR" nonesense that asshat traders like to blow up people's asses.

    /rant over

I typed that all on a touch screen, I might need my thumbs amputated after fixing all of AutoCorrect's "corrections."
