I'm just about done with the shield. What colour would be best? Red would be good for obvious reasons but Solitude already uses it. That doesn't really stop us as like 3 towns use a blue-ish colour but still, we won't be ~力riginal才.

brown perhaps? might look nice
yellow with black!
Pure White
Animunikhan?
I think he means a name for the quest.
Something like "Ex Machina" would be too cliched.
How about "Fetching Revenge"?
All I did was paraphrased your idea a lot to make more room for more characters. I'm checking my current notepad file of the list and the only thing significantly different from your original idea is his race actually..? I thought he was Dunmer, but I guess I recalled incorrectly. I get your point about the arena quest when looking back on it. I'll try to think of some better ways to get the player involved with that part of town if no one beats me to the punch.
Edited:
Does Dreynos Indaram sound good for a Dunmer mad scientist? I'm currently adding him to the list. Btw I'm sorry if it seemed like I was trying to alter your character. Just got my lore mixed up and was also adding some other characters when I hurriedly added yours as well.

Here are the suggested colours. Thinking of making the metal border darker. Once I get the logo, I can slap it on there.
I like the third one, looks like a yellow jacket hornet, which are fucking horrifying.
Voiceacting if anyone needs a spare voiceactor. I need something to do this week
are those... double eyepatches?
The player could always go to the arena and sign up to fight in it. But in any case, I really don't think you should be worrying about names at this point in time. All you really need is to give your characters a basic archtype and then sum them up quickly. No reason to force something upon the modders, especially not when it comes to a potentially symbolic as hell topic like the names of the characters.
They look good! You should match their color scheme to that of the normal in-game iron shields, though. It'll make them fit in much more. Also, the unpainted edges look white, when they should probably be wood-colored.
The third one with this as armor:

Still no-one editing?
...
fucking awesome. ill get you the logo as soon as i get home.
Elite guards/KGB could have skull with dagger in it![]()
would be cool to have guards called "the hornets" or some shit like that
It's settled then.
Luftahraan will be ruled by a Queen.
We obviously need the guards to have a line about how they float like a butterfly and sting like a bee now.
Editing
I love it.
If everyone likes the idea i'll write up a proper transcript.
I thought of a great (imo, but I'm biased) main quest idea. Might be a bit too great for us, but hey.
Involves the fate of the dwemer, the depths of Luftahraan, lore and references to Morrowind.
The dwemer lived in Luft, the most advanced dwemer city in ancient times, tried to get to the very core of Nirn to try and learn the secrets of life. In their chase for immortality, gods get angry and fuck their shit up.
Much like Kagrenac and his tools, in Luft lived a great craftsman (like F螁nor) that seeked a solution for death. He made a tool (could be anything really) that allowed him to go the the very bowels of the earth and drain its life from the core.
When he strikes the core, he is sucked himself into it, instead of the opposite. The raw power of the blade and now the core's, unleashed, drags all of Luftahraan's great and not-so-great people to try and remove the blade from the core themselves, and they ended up being sucked.
The thing is that they weren't powerful enough to resist all that power. Guess who is? The Heroes.
A hero (might or might not be one of the games' characters, whatever fits lore more) is led, much like the pc, to the island. It was long abandoned and in ruins, but he kept on going deeper and deeper eventually reaching the core. He sees the sword and the core, and all the power emanating from them. He manages to resist (being the first person to do so) and seals the way to it, helping contain the threat.
As years go by, civilizations rise and fall, and Luftahraan is occupied by various races, all unknowingly led there by the power of the blade.
Possibility 1) The Luftahraan our hero meets does not know yet of the hidden secret, and what keeps the rest of Skyrim away from it is the terrible reputation of murderers, rapists, pirates and their kind. The mercenary army is feared by all holds, and known to have no mercy.
The Dragonborn finds out about the core through a nightmare (or anything really) and is guided to the bottommost exposed part of the dwemer tower. There he finds a magically sealed entrance that he has to breach to gain access to the 3 levels of the dungeon leading to a shaft.
Possibility 2) Our hero is led to the ruins of a Luftahraan city. Only minimal rubble, flora and wild animals occupy the island. One thing stands out, though: a gate, standing tall and untouched as if it was built not a week ago. When the pc walks near, a glyph shines, an outworldly voice talks to him and guides him on to the city, which, on the other side, is in perfect state.
Would require a new worldspace, and that could be hard to do.
So, how hard am I tripping?
Yeah, and the city's corrupt leader wants that tool.
And he sends player to the depths after player has completed some missions for guards --> and for "KGB" --> And then leader think that player might be suitable for his quest.

+Made shacks to the undercity.
+Made enterance to the slave mines.
+Made the arena (Preparing rooms are still missing, feel free to do them).
Arena is adjacent to the slave mines and should have connect to it.
Edited:
I like that idea, exept that last part.
Which last part?
And I don't think anoyne should know of the existance of the tool yet, else everyone would be on a goldrush after it
I have a idea about the guards:
You know when the normal guards arest you and you have the options:
-Fine
-resist
-Jail
-(Thane).
But Luft guards should have:
-Resist.
-Slave.
-Bribe.
-(KGB)
Edited:
Only the leader and his/her mage/historian.
Then the immense power would've made them go after it already like hungry zombies, doesn't make sense
It's a power normal people can't resist
Someone could now finish the arena and make it functional.
Edited:
He know it only because of books and scrolls.
Edited:
The mage/historian should live in the top of the dwemer tower.
What about if all the guards say it, except for one guard, who messes it up when you first talk to him and then he never tries to say it again afterwards?
But if you follow him around he'll say it to other people and always mess it up, getting the names mixed up or something, all in different ways. And there'll be some conversations where he'll say it wrong, and then he won't realise that he's said it wrong, and the other person will just be like "er, okay then..." and carry on with the conversation, and then when they go away he'll suddenly realise that he said it wrong again![]()
Haven't seen Wheeze for a while?
Hasn't logged on FP for a day. Could be away somewhere? I liked his streams.
I like Possibility 1 the most. The PC should find out about the quest through the trust of a king or high ranking wizard in the city. Like the main reason the leader doesn't take all his troops and go pillaging is because he wants that blade.
Oh shit. Then you could either choose to give him the sword in exchange for some reward or fight him in an epic battle for control of the blade and upon killing him be named leader so when guards try to arrest you instead of the Thane option you could say you're the KING/QUEEN.
Edited:
Also i think that there should be Stormcloack ambassador in Luft.
Edited:
And he pays the leader for sinking empire's ships.
Edited:
And if player someday becomes the leader he should have option to command guards.
Has anyone mentioned a quest where you free the slaves?
I'll think the player should stick with guards/"KGB" and leader (+ some double agend stuff) until the dwemer thing.
Maybe he/she could free them in one of the last missions.

Also, who is going to edit?
And if you're new in this, feel free to edit too, but you'll might want to check OP.
I was thinking of something along the lines of maybe the court wizard gives you the task to go to the depths (before the sealed door) and you end up finding out about it, and somehow (maybe the voice tells you) you venture deeper and deeper.
The door being unsealed makes some key people (let's say it's because they're less / more powerful than regular) talking about a weird feeling they got. The leader ends up asking you, in secret, to escort him to the depths, he ends up dying, you get the blade (which gives you a +10000HP bonus or some shit while you have it in your inv - quest item, though) and you have a massive boss fight, maybe something like Mehrunes Dagon - giant dwemer thingy, like Numidium, trapped underground.
Could be cool.
And then starts battle for the leadership
Some of the KGB-guards and leaders friends/foes strats to fight for the power and you'll have to eliminate some of them to claim your leadership.
Oh that would be great. Just run in there and go Abraham Lincoln all over peoples' shit.
I wish I had a good pc so I could help with this shit.
Actually, I might be able to run this game if I got more ram and a low power graphics card
How're we going about optimization?
