The only FP section that can pull off a collaboration project is the Musicians section.

That's probably because they're making their own tracks instead of everyone working on a single one.

We should have done that. Everyone makes their own small game and one person showcases the games in a menu.

Only way this section could pull off a collaboration project is if you just setup a git repo and everyone submitted pull requests.

What I think would be interesting is to set up an svn repo with public write access and just start spreading the url.

This is another "Sounds great!"... "Well, it worked out fantastic in my head..." idea.

Like those good old crappy "40 GAMES IN ONE" cartridges.

    Edited:

That isn't the worst idea ever now that I think about it.

I could do something monday because Ill have nothing to do at school. The only experience I have with Love and LUA is gwiltys programming assignments but they went pretty well. Maybe Ill add something and not totally break everything.
I'm not on the original list though, not that thats actually working. So would anyone mind if I give it a shot?

Just take whatever upload was last posted (Lexic's ATM, I believe) and announce that you've claimed the day.

Pretty sure we tried this before, and it failed. Anyone remember the arcade collaboration thing? I was making a launcher but nobody submitted their games...

I apologize, I was kept up with other mundane tasks lately and couldn't get to it. I've been rather unproductive lately.

When I do get to this, I'll silently grab the latest copy and work on it then, and if people get work finished ahead of me, I'll merge it back in.

    Sorry again.

Yea I don't know enough LUA to do this. I might have been able to do this when there wasn't so much to the game, but there's to much with my limited knowledge.
I really wanted to try to get this going again.
