It kinda does. Mango gave a "battery life" section in the Settings.

It's now charging, staying on for a few, then rebooting. I don't think this is an app.

    Fuck HTC.

Edit: Seems to be good now, but IDK, I've been wanting to replace my phone for awhile. The Trophy's very low quality and Verizon doesn't have any other good Windows phones so I'll probably be making a switch soon.

If you're looking for another, I love my Lumia 800. I have absolutely no issues with it.

I think my HTC Mozart 7 has crapped itself for the last time today, but at least it gives me the excuse to buy the Nokia Lumia 900.

Seems like some companies skimped on the quality of the first generation phones.

Besides that nasty update bug, the focus and the Omnia are pretty good 1st Gen phones. Haven't had any trouble whatsoever with my Omnia and the battery lasts A LOT. can go almost two full days without charging. And ofc, the screen is boss.

Okay I'm utterly stumped at this.
But is there a way to get more picture folders (albums)
I have camera roll, saved pictures, 7 (stock pictures), other pictures and some skydrive, mobile uploads and profile pictures albums.

But can't find a way to make my own and actually move stuff to them.

The only way I know of is by syncing them with Zune.

Ah found out why that didn't work before. I was synching a picture seperately as opposed to the whole folder.

Also goddamn Zune is a bloody mess. Was trying to change the avatar inside of the software. No luck anywhere. So go to the online site.

No option anywhere again. Change locale to UK-English. Suddenly can open sociel.zune.net. And suddenly can change avatar.

buuuuuuut any avatar upload files with an error please try again later. (the pre-existing ones work though)

I'd say Zune is the biggest letdown for WP7 I've had till now.

    EDIT

Woot changing to Germany seems to have worked. Maybe it thinks it's close enough so it's plausible or something :P

But seriously the thing is a feature mess. It keeps giving me stuff like Buy music on zune, without it actually working. Puts forward a profile without an actual option to edit it and a bunch of other stuff.

It should either have the common options regions free or not give me even a whif of those features.

I've had a fairly pleasant experience with Zune - it's not bad, and it's not that good. One thing that annoys me to hell, is that there isn't gapless playback. I like the software, but damn this can go suck a cock. Dark side of the moon is pretty much ruined by this, though I still listen to it.

Eh, Zune suffers from the same shit as iTunes IMO - it focuses on everything BUT music playback and it ends up being a hassle to use.

And there's no excuse for either media player to have performance issues on an i5 2500k.

I haven't had direct issues working with zune to be honest. The issues tend to be mostly with them dangling features in front of me but not giving them fully.

I guess comes from being only in a partially supported region.

    Nothing new yet.

Also been testing the beta skype client. A couple of problems (including one big one) but otherwise eems to be on the right track. Plus hey it's beta software.

    a) Lack of tile notifications
    b) no filtering in the online list. I can't see actually who's online and offline
    c) can't change my own online status
    d) skype doesn't have an option to disable the lockscreen yet
    e) my biggest caveat for now. I can't seem to get the mic to work. I can hear the other side fine but they can't hear me. Might be some setting error I've not noticed though.

But overall considering it's beta software it works very snappy and fast.

    b) if you click the contacts list, you can filter by online, offline and all.

Which phone do you have, there's a list of phones with issues on the Skype forum (if you go to the settings menu there's a link there)

It's actually funny. The lumia 800 is supposed to be flawless. Problem still happens.

And thanks - I found it myself in the end. But it's pretty out of the way for a pretty important feature.

    EDIT

Mic was fixed by signing in and out to a new profile then back to the old one

I have been having a couple problems with my Lumia, one is that the entire screen will shift to the left for a second every so often, the other started the other day and the sound went super quiet like I had turned it all the way down eve though it was on full volume. Have you had either of these on yours?

I've never had those errors (The screen shifting one sounds worrying), the only one I've had is where the battery will suddenly drain in an hour but I put that down to OS problems and will be fixed in an Update.

I don't think Valve'll make one yet, not enough people really have a Windows Phone - I've started making one though.

My ZTE Blade is starting to age, most noticeable in the battery (8 and hours with minimal to no usage) and I'm thinking of getting a Lumia 800. Recommended?

You could also wait for the 900 which will be out soon or in a few months time.

I find the issue with the 900 the screen size. It's just far far too big. If they instead had the 800's form factor with the features the 900 has. Now that would be bloody amazing.

Also seems like the is12t is actually finally coming to the EU

    display type
    Memory size
    Battery type
    Body construction
    Price
    Camera

I think those are the difference. Not sure if the chips on them are different or not. I think they're the same.
Also both have gorilla glass so it shouldn't be so bad no matter what you get.

The CPU and RAM is the same, but the camera, display and probably some other stuff is pretty radically different. They're as different as Windows Phones are. That's not much, but it's something.

One of my friends got a Nokia Lumia 800 yesterday, and one of my other friends is getting his today. My brother (who was in the TDC shop a few days ago) got told that they're literally flying off the shelves here in Denmark. Supposedly their top-selling phone right now, though I find it a little hard to believe.

I hope that's the case, I feel really bad for Microsoft having developed this great platform and it just not taking off.
