Why is that SFM stuff always has to get all the spotlight recently?
Is there no love for stop-motion anymore or is that people consider stop-motion as lower-class inferior machinima now?
There's just less stopmotion.
For whatever reason, 3ds Max crashed THREE TIMES while I was making this. I would've put way more effort in if it wasn't.
Incoming revised version with the crit sound effect once pocket medic sends me it.
It's the Williamette Mall track from Dead Rising 1.
I'm uploading the improved version now.
I live to entertain.
And there is also the fact that most of the audience is too young to relate to stop motion since they didn't grow up with the classics such as Wallace and Gromit.
Stop motion, like puppetry, is a dying breed.
Why spend 20 hours messing around with glitchy ragdolls in Garry's Mod when you can do your movie much more easily in, I don't know, a tenth of the time? (note that if you want to, you can very well do stopmotion with the 3ds Max > Gmod pipeline)
Effort does not guarantee quality (and vice versa)
Is there some trick to the whole stop-motion thing? I have a lot of trouble moving models around in a fashion to my liking, partially due to the fact that things have "Weight" when picking them up with the physgun beam, and partially due to the difficulty of actually getting things into a good pose, due to the poor manipulation controls present in Gmod.
EDIT: You damn ninja, Max.
Antoine has uploaded "How I Lost My Medical License" again for the last time.
and yet another upload of his video.
Oh wow, did I really just get ninja'd by a few seconds
I can't see any difference between this Faceposer preview and the full Gmod render that you posted earlier.
fresh from ms paint. 8D
Somewhere in Eastern Europe...
Nokia Russian Ratgineer, apparently.
Also, what speech was that in Schwiggan's video?
The classic comedian? I heard that was one of his movies, but didn't know there was such a speech in it.
Does anyone have a link to the bone-merger tool? I get a 404 when I use the link in maxy's video.
