I'm beginning to get the hang of this new hobby
the replays, not the jumping in front of trains
Needless to say, it was removed by Youtube like a week later.
Also, sorry for posting off-topic, but do you have a method for using props in your animations, Max? So far I've only been able to animate character models because they have rigs, yet if I wanted to like.. say make a character kick a box, how would I go about that? Common sense tells me that I just need to incorporate the prop into my 3ds max project file and then generate a custom .qc for it and bring it into garry's mod, then use batch commands to spawn the player and the prop and have them do the sequence in co-ordination, yet I'm kind of stuck on how to bring the prop into 3ds max in the first place and then how to create a .qc for it.
TL;DR: how do you go about using props in 3ds max animations?
Sorry again for the lengthy off-topic post, just hoping you could shed some light on this for me.
The bodygroup highlights a part of the model to modify, the subgroup will replace that part of the model with either something else or remove that part altogether, the alternate fire changes the skin of models
With the Mediguns, i think only the default Medigun has a hose that can be toggled, all others can't
More delicious replay goodness.
Actually, nevermind on my previous question. I did some experimenting and I found a quick solution, among a fix to some other things. I actually figured out how to use garry's mod ragdolls as my personal rigs in 3ds max. I'm surprised I've never seen this before.
for stuff like weapons, you'll still have to decompile it to get it in 3ds max, but you won't have to recompile it; as long as you export the weapon bones on the character, you can then bonemerge the weapon
A WIP, kritz kritz kritz
i find the scout to be dashing without his bag and handwraps
I'm trying to figure out each style
1. Looks like Fairly OddParents
2. Looks very Invader Zim like
3. I'm not sure of
4. Looks familiar but i'm still drawing blanks
5. Earthbound if i'm not mistaken
6. This looks like one of the old Nickolodeon cartoons, The Wild Thornberrys come to mind
7. Not quite sure what this is
8. Looks similar to Charlie Brown
9. I may have seen a style like this before, but i can't think of the name
The description has the answers, but i wanted to guess them without looking
Edit: Having never seen the show, I'm fairly certain that 3 is Panty & Stocking.
Some may recall my request of an Arrested-Development GMod pose, which Demonskull so graciously made.
Now I'm hoping someone can do the same with The Royal Tenenbaums
(There's ten in the image, I'd suggest The Administrator for the mother.)
I'm fine with Payload.
Well, the fact the VIP is controlled by a player is much more thrilling, but I'll admit it would bear balance issues
I wish I could draw...
Then i'd get all the Facepunch chicks.
Yep. All 2 of 'em.
-Players dont want to move so VIP must take critical hits from every weapon when stands still
-Players love to fail thier team so give VIP extra health around 600 hp
-Players love to dominate when they are extra healthy so give VIP only close range weapon
VIP is a freakin bear
From this POV, I feel sorry for doing this.
(I was da scout)
