Heres some music:
Knowing Facepunch, I don't think that's a big danger.
I just like 2-3 songs of most rap artists.
Like, curtain call eminem, 2 of waynes, and a bunch of random stuff.
I'm not too for Hip-Hop or Rap, but I do like 80s and early 90s stuff like Cypress Hill, NWA, and Beastie Boys.
I'm more into experimental rap like Death Grips though, and I have no clue where to look for that.
Thread needs more evidence
fired up my ps2 and played some gta:sa
obligatory
I know alot of people seem to hate The Streets but he's one of the most original UK MC's
Edited:
And of course Scroobius Pip and Dan le Pip
New Die Antwoord
Might see them in LA this month.
Edited:
Try Shabazz Palaces and Das Racist I would say they are pretty experimental considering their unconventional style and willingness to go into different sounds.
Also
Danny Brown is pretty trippy mayne.
Lakutis is a pretty new guy that's doing some interesting things too but kind of in the vein of a Das Racist style
Lakutis is a pretty funny guy, I shook hands with him.
Edited:
The 7 spiders of Hip-Hop also sounds awesome.
uk hiphop
is he the guy that did your fit but don't you know it?
Yeah.
Edited:
Rhyme Asylum sound a little too stale for me.
Dude sick where'd you meet him?
i'm all about this dude right now, best production
holy shit Nas and Snoop are in town. I hope they hop on the bandwagon and do some free shows in the Super Bowl Village. Saw snoop when I was 13 at a metal concert, would kill to see him again
Das Racist played The Ruby Lounge here in Manchester and he was their sound guy/roadie. I spoke to him after the gig for like 2 minutes.
More love needed for Alaskan Fisherman
anyone going to see odd future soon?
himanshu's new mixtape is intense, you should hear it.
Edited:
Eminem's Marshall Mathers LP is essential imo.
I'm liking NYC cops, gonna listen to the rest of it now.
It's abstract, but dense as fuck.
Early contender for best hip hop record imo.
I was genuinely surprised by it. Definitely the best mixtape I've heard in a while, and also convinced me to listen to Das Racist.
Yeah at Manchester Academy,
Edited:
Das Racists first 2 mixtapes are the best i've heard.
So gather 'round as I lay it down
and unravel my pedigree
I hope you're joking bro.

It's free.
Well worth the listen if you want something different but explosive as hip hop is.
Shit Snoop and Nas did a private concert with the Roots. Pitbull and 50 cent are playing the same gig but fuck that shit.
this has been in on my ipods most played for a while .. I love these kinds of songs, like even though it's justhim rappin' about kid nappin' a bitch and shit .it was written so sick.. and the chorus is nice as fuck.. reminds me of tyler the creator's blow shtyll
I didn't really like relapse :/
Edited:
required for every hiphop thread across the netscape.
needs more doom
I hated it when it came out but i like quite a few tracks now, especially underground. I kinda think its better than recovery now.
Relapse was kind of overkill on the slim shady persona. But the music was still enjoyable imo, I haven't found the enjoyment in Recovery though, I'll have to listen to it more to get what it's about.
I heard it once and it felt overproduced and very distant from the Marshall Mathers from 8 Mile.
Why? I thought relapse was a great album.
