Tried to play All Random with bots just for shits and giggles.
Bots apparently don't know how to play Lycan or Dark Seer. I mean they REALLY don't. The Lycan bot would literally throw himself into our towers, doing 0 effort to survive. The Dark Seer attacked normally at least, but both were incapable of buying any items except for Town Portal Scrolls or using any abilities at all.
There's only like 12 heroes that bots can play.
I'd really appreciate if I could be in it. I've been trying to secure a key for my friend as we used to play semi-competitive original Dota together but haven't had much luck yet.
Earthshaker with blink is one of the most frightening things in dota if he is not on your team.
Not if you have any sort of mana drain.
Anti Mage and/or Drow.
sorry for dcing in that first game btw dude, my internet went down and it just came back up now
Sand King: Any non target stun, special mention for Slardar.
Omniknight: Stuns, Mana Burn, anybody that can still do stuff regardless of its Repel, mentions to Enigma and Beastmaster.
Razor: Anybody that can carry like a pro without having a high attack pool, and most likely ranged, Drow or Mirana comes to mind.
Ursa: Drow, Drow or Drow.
Dazzle: Mana Burners, Burst Damage to counter his infinite heal, Pudge could have worked.
Against a team like this I would have probably went: Drow, Windrunner/Lina/Lion, Enigma, Beastmaster/Vengeful and Slardar.
Drow is going to be the hard carry, so you're going to lane her either solo mid with Enigma Jungler or Top with the Support (Beastmaster or Vengeful depending of your original choice), Windrunner for side solo, and Slardar on the remaining lane.
Here, let me do some quick schema and edit later.
First CM match in MM.
QoP + Dark Seer getting a great early game while I, Broodmother, dominate bottom lane (7/0/X early game). Took a while (50+ minutes?) for our Riki to get some decent items and learn to use Diffusial Blade. Was a close match, but in the end upgraded mega creeps dominate everything. Oh and Lich ball everywhere + veno ulti out of nowhere. The Shadow Shaman never talked with us though (or we couldn't understand him because...well yeah you get it). Anyway, they lead in kills but we still won due to tower and possible gold advantage.

Here, I wound probably have done something like this.
Let me explain the lanes.
Top: Windrunner can easily escape Sand King with her Windrun, she can also shackleshot both of them, it's even more easier as Sand King has to get in melee range, and she can piss off Dazzle by Powershotting about the same amount of damage as his heal.
Mid: Explained earlier, Drow isn't pure attack, but more Attack Speed, Razor can suck down Attack, not the rate of yours attack, and Drow is a somewhat good mid.
Bottom: Beastmaster and Slardar, they can chainstun with Roam and Crush, and Slar can keep bashing to death, Slardar isn't in much of a danger as he has Sprit in case Ursa gets angry, and Omniknight can heal himself and nuke yeah, but he can't do anything if you stun him with a lucky Bash.
Jungle: Enigma could be runned Top, but it's not worth it as he can jungle well enough and Windrunner will most likely be fine, he can occasionally come out after he gets 2 or more levels into Malefice to double stun, once again going Stun heavy as Ursa can't do shit when stunned, and most of the times he has Phase boots to escape. Also, while you shouldn't waste Black Holes like that, since Omni and Ursa are both melee, landing a Black Hole is going to be quite easy if they're trying to gank your friends, and the Black Hole disable DOES go through Omni's repel.
Teamfight potential:
Once you hit the teamfight part of the game, Slardar will rip off Sandking with Amplyfing Damage, making him even more squishy, stunning him every time he tries to channel an Epicenter, and remember that Slardar's Ult gives true sight, making him visible if he tries to Sandstorm after you popped it on him.
For Ursa, no fucking Problem, your team is Slow heavy, and Drow is the best counter to Ursa, he won't be able to do any single contribution if you keep Wards up, especially the Roshan one.
Razor will be the only one not really countered, thanfully he isn't much of a problem and will most probably try to suck Slardar's attack points, just stun him before Slardar gets in his range and rape teh fuck out of him.
Dazzle isn't really gonna be able to do anything, except heal and reduce your armor, your team is made to rip off everything fast tho, so no big deal.
Omni is going to be the only real problem, while Enigma's Black Hole will still fuck over anybody that gets in it, even Magic Immune, his Ult is still gonna make your enemie's armor high as fuck, thankfully it shares almost the same cooldown as your Black Hole, which is about 2 minutes.
Drow is a terrible mid. Put her bottom, put Beastmaster mid. Besides, BM can't stun anyone until 6.
I'm gonna admit you're right on that one, but wouldn't it be better if Drow got solo laning XP ?
She needs farm, she's a carry, not a ganker.
Ummm, Beast Master needs solo laning more than Drow does, she needs farm over XP.
Am I late with this?
http://www.gamersbook.com/scene/news...-free-to-play/
My friend builds a crit-centered Drow, always taking mid, and 4/5 of the time he carries us like it's nobody's business.
Does anyone have a spare invite to send over? been waiting for a key for quite some time now.
Terrible enemy mid player then and terrible team, a mid Drow is so vulnerable to ganks because she has no escape mechanism and I doubt that her silence can save her when a Tide is coming from the sidde Gushing her while QoP, BM or any other hero just burst her down. And she can get easily outharassed due to her low health.
Never seen this heroes do well (in pub games):
Alchemist
Dragon Knight
Slardar
Chen
Batrider
warlock
Dragon knight, Slardar and Warlock are easy, and for the rest I've seen them all played very well
Play more
i played slardar once and i never felt so useless before
probably because im still terrible
You're not late, but the article is. There is no need for any sort of "confirmation" if you are capable of logical thinking.
Is there a place on Dota 2 forums where I could report players. Just had an awful game with some two Spanish guys talking load of shit. I really want those bastards out.
Yep. In theory, Drow will have problems with ganks at mid, sure, but in practice I find that in pubs those ganks don't tend to be executed well or someone from the team backs her up and it's all fine.
Click their names on the scoreboard (you can do this in game history) and click Report Player. Then choose Verbal or Text Abuse.
Um...anyone else notice a 238mb update for DOTA 2 test?
*checks items*
*no Shadow Blade*
*sniff* I'm so proud of you.

The more of a support a hero is, the more likely they are to buy wards. . If they have a human teammate, they will not purchase enough wards to fully deplete the store. . They will ward the runes, their jungle, and sometimes the enemy jungle (depending on how pushed the lanes are). . They won't go to locations to place wards if they think it's too dangerous. - Fixed bug that would sometimes prevent bots from defending their top/bottom lanes when the tier 3 towers/racks are gone. - Fixed bug where if the incoming threat was small, no one would ever be a selected to defend (typically resulting in no defensive response to creeps).
Who were you against mid? If it was Viper and he didn't level his self passive, I jelly. I always have to deal with that BS when I solo Drow...
Oh god the new music..so awesome..
Rhasta went mid, Viper was feeding our team at bot.
What is it exactly ?
In the game files.
wierd, why update on tuesday all of a sudden?
What are you guys disagreeing with? my personal experience? I've never seen a pub player that doesn't suck ass with these heroes. Yeah, i know these heroes are amazing in competitive games (chen, etc) but honestly i rather have something silly like hard carry vengful spirit than a pub chen in my games cuz all they do is be useless.
They probably thought it was wednesday.
Why are you getting mad over ratings ?
First time Bloodseeker, am I good yet?

Does this mean the non-test dota will update tomorrow?
