tip of the day: if you're having trouble last hitting, go into practice mode and pick morphling, get morph first and morph everything into str. start practicing.

I was playing Lina and just minding my own business bot, farming, defending, my score was 1/1/0.
Then our DK starts screaming at me because I was just sitting there and says I'm shit.
Then he goes 1v5 because he had Immortality and makes us lose the game
just lol

lol this group is like the team who picks full carries and doesn't farm
You got that from Barnyyy's stream.
I know because I was watching it when he did that.
You won 4vs5 without the enemy team getting any rax ?
Good god.
In 33 min too.
Not to kill the feel, but with the team they were against and how fed Riki and BH are, if they lost it would have been a travesty.
just decided to start playing this since i got it ages ago, basically resulted in: oh god everyone is angry at me and i keep getting killed.
so basically my question is how good should you be before hopping into a server? i want to avoid giving another Dota player a nervous breakdown.
i haven't even touched online versus players yet, i've been doing co-op vs ai this whole time. the confusing part is that you should, in no way, compare bots to actual players because bots can both be shittier or better than a player could be.
I played alot of LoL before I came to Dota, I recommend playing LoL for a while before jumping into Dota until you get hang of the common mechanics.
Eh that just wastes time learning about their heroes and picking up bad habits. It's best to read guides, play with bots, and/or play with a friend that knows what he is doing.
I played LoL before Dota and I don't recommend it. While most of the gameplay is the same, they are very different.
Edited:
Plus it doesn't teach you the different play style and heroes in Dota.
So, Announcer: Juggernaut.
I want.Code:"announcer_dlc_juggernaut_announcer_anc_attack_yr_02" "announcer_dlc_juggernaut: Your ancient is under attack. That's not a good thing." "announcer_dlc_juggernaut_announcer_anc_attack_yr_03" "announcer_dlc_juggernaut: Your ancient is being stabbed." "announcer_dlc_juggernaut_announcer_anc_attack_yr_04" "announcer_dlc_juggernaut: Your defenseless ancient is being victimized!" "announcer_dlc_juggernaut_announcer_anc_attack_yr_05" "announcer_dlc_juggernaut: You might want to check out your ancient." "announcer_dlc_juggernaut_announcer_anc_attack_yr_06" "announcer_dlc_juggernaut: Oh, your ancient isn't happy with you right now." "announcer_dlc_juggernaut_announcer_anc_attack_yr_07" "announcer_dlc_juggernaut: See what's happening to your ancient? That means you're a loser."
Gotta love "Your ancient is being stabbed."
DLC :<
I hope it's just as any TF2 item, you know, droppable.
poor ancient
You get 'generic credit' for winning and loosing and getting thanked or whatever its called so i guess you buy it with that.
Hopefully.
But I am still worried about that Karma currency. Idlingat least wasn't harmful, this is easily abused.
Anyone have a dota 2 stream? I'm away from home and would love to watch some dota 2. I'm addicted to it now.
The best stream in Dota.

Should i have this? The test i mean.
No it's illegal you are going to be vac banned soon!!!
I hate how the Dota 2 survey assumes you have played Dota before. Why aren't they interested in first time players' impressions and feedback on the game?
Because its 100% direct port of all abilities, items and heroes. The only thing changing is engine and team, as Icefrog has joined Valve, thus Valve is now take care of Dota 2.
While fresh populus is always nice, bringing much needed vitality into a game where new ideas and creative thinking mean a lot, for Beta purposes they need people who will spot even the slightest differences between proper mechanics and bugged mechanics.
People often say in-game "This ability shouldn't work that way, it doesn't so in Dota 1!". Would a freshmen know, for example, that Spirit Breaker's Illusions shouldn't benefit from his Greater Bash Ability ? Or what if "Power threads switching" wouldn't for work for some reason, would new people even know about Power Threads switching in order to gain mana/hp ?
+ Dota was/is the most popular map/mod in Warcraft III's multiplayer. Warcraft III is superb game, you dare to say you didn't play it? If so, then I thinking not stumbling across Dota while browsing for some X Hero Siege is rather hard.
Starting to like Leshrac. Me and SK laned together, got two quick kills on Clinkz, game continued to be lopsided from there.
I think i'm mastering my Juggernaut. Never had a k/d this cool
Played with my friend SoapyHamHocks, we won.
No this isn't fake.

Holy shit, I know the Witch Doctor and Slardar haha
Yeah thats something common in Dota 2 games if the carry keeps up his farm while getting kills.

Aeon of Strife wuz bettur :3
(Tip for people: Aeon of Strife was made way before Dota was on the Starcraft 1 engine. That shit was amazing. It was said that it started the Action RTS phenomenon)
So I just heard Blizzard announced a new f2p game. Blizzard DOTA. Atleast, someone told me.
Can anyone confirm if it's real, and if it is, is this why they started being dicks because Valve copyrighted DOTA?
