Do quests around the strip or kill Omerta Thugs in Gommorah.

    Edited:

i'd suggest against the latter, it's easy to miss and hit a gambler instead. and obviously, that does not result in positive karma.
But there are so few... Well, I could always hunt down lots of Vault suits for Sarah Impossiblelastname.

    A paladin of justice.

Can only use heavy armor and melee weapons, preferably hammers.

Needs to side with the NCR and roam the wasteland as a crusader of justice.

Leave no evil un-cleansed and no crime un-punished.

You must destroy every source of evil you see, especially the legion, and not stop fighting until you are sure a certain area has been purged of evil.

    Speaking of scary deathclaw moments...
I almost shat myself when I went on a caravan on the overpass. I heard this large thud, then looked through one of the windows and saw a fucking deathclaw looking at me.

The mental image that gave me was a space marine.

That sounds like a good idea...energy weapons/melee, Super Sledge, laser rifle or some variant. Hm...

heavy incinerator + ripper, side with brotherhood of steel

kill everything evil and also all super mutants

    It what I've been doing.

    Me, Veronica and Rex.

NCR armor and a rebar club (Was ripper before i found one. Chainsword?)

Its fun playing golf with peoples skulls, super slam, i knock them down then smack their heads off.

Also, does anyone else have a glitch with Veronica where if you go to a new area her powerfist turns into a black glove?

My worst deathclaw moment was in Fallout 3.

Let's just say that there was some mod problem and a death claw decided to come to my birthday party.

    There were no survivors.

I just remembered something from my adventures in fallout 3. On time I was walking up to a group of raiders in an old building complex, and all of a sudden, I heard a rocket noise, and a large explosion in the air. having never heard of this special encounter, I figured either the raiders had rocket launchers or a BoS patrol had joined the fight. I got inside the parking lot, saw a blue blob speeding my way, and I was instantly disintegrated. Turns out, the explosion was the encounter where an alien pistol falls from the sky after a spaceship explodes. One of the raiders had picked it up.

I remember that, I was just going into the mobile home thingy, and then came the large thud.

I thought is was some background noise, like the bridge falling apart slowly, but oh was I horribly wrong.

Went outside, got one shotted. :(

I think a game set in the Mid-West kinda like Tactics would be cool, only this time it can't suck.

Think about it. The Great Irritated Plains of Kansas and Colorado for example, fields of petrified corn and wheat that stretch for miles, centuries old and mummified by nuclear flash and fire. Ceaser's Legion has the majority around the parts, NCR Rangers and Regular Army only at the borders. The Mid-Western Brotherhood of Steel and hopefully the Enclave locked away in the giant Cheyenne Mountain Complex, once home to NORAD. Several dozen hidden ICBM silos hidden under the Earth, some still armed and silent after all this time. Giant Caravans and dozens of small town USA's between the radiated cities of Topeka, Denver, Kansas City, Lawrence and so on. More tribes hiding in the mountains, Super Mutants roaming in small bands and all kinds of other critters.
Uh, sorry to crush your dreams but-
According to both the game bible and design documents for Van Buren, the entire area was reduced to a severely radioactive crater.

Can we please stop it with the Enclave? They've been royally fucked twice, nuked AND hit with their own orbital bombardment weapon. It's time for a NEW antagonist.

I imagine there's an alternate universe where the only difference is that Fallout keeps reusing the Master's army rather than the Enclave as the bad guys.

Sometimes I'll be wandering around the wasteland in Fallout 3 or New Vegas and I just stop and take in the atmosphere. In my opinion Bethesda and Obsidian did a really good job of making a vast wasteland that really feels post-apocalyptic.

They could create a new faction if they have to, they have the entirety of the United States, Canada, and Mexico to work with, and have only focused on a small part of it so far.
