You can find unenchanted mage robes all over the place in random containers.
You're right, I should be more specific.
I mean the likes of Expert and Novice mage robes.
The ones you CAN find unenchanted look... Cheap and amateur.

Yes, the dreaded gorilla that waits at the bottom of ravines and behind short hills to attack explorers every 50 feet.

On that note, its a wonder that anybody is still fucking alive in Skyrim given the volume of bear, wolf, ice wolf, saber cat, troll, DARGON, frost troll, spriggan, bandit and spider attacks that you incur if you take more than 20 steps outside of town. Every time you get in a random non-hostile encounter with somebody on the road in skyrim, not 20 seconds later they literally get ambushed by a a bear or saber cat and die horribly.
    Well.

Everybody is a badass. One can tell by the looks of comparison to Oblivion anyway.

Er, here's the tutorial. Gotta increase buffer size too.

May want to tweak those ram settings as well if you have lots of ram.

I found that rock texture set too, looks awesome. I installed it and it makes the game look like the promotional art

So I found this useful mod that allows you to break locks instead of picking them. Fits for any goody-two-shoes or thick-headed brutes, I think. Gonna test it, hopefully it'll be useful.

Found this while looking for a mod in the same vein as the first on the Workshop. Paladin spells, looks like it'll be fun and useful.

And here's the character I'm going to use them on.

This is getting really annoying. Skyrim and Steam refuse to download the same mods over and over again. Dynamic Merchants, Paladin Spells, Moonpath to Elsweyr, Open Cities... every single time they give me the error 16. I've tried looking up everything that causes them, but closing programs and all that shit isn't working. I just want these mods to download without having to restart Skyrim 200 times so I can get lucky and ONE of them will download. Does anyone have any fixes that worked for them?

    Edited:

Last one is Live Another Life. I have it from the nexus so I can actually use it, but I'd like the other crap. I know Paladin Spells isn't on the nexus.

Wow, so I was walking away from Dawnstar during a fierce blizzard (I have that snow mod that makes more fog and snow) when suddenly about 6 red markers appeared on my compass. I confidently took out my dragonbane, figuring that it was just a bunch of bandits or wolves. Suddenly I soiled my pants as those 6 red markers turned out to be 10-12 screaming dual-wielding Dark Brotherhood assassins rushing out at me from the fog. In desperate haste I looked at my map to see how far away I was from Dawnstar. My only hope was a nearby giant settlement, so I rushed towards that area. Now along with 10-12 assassins on my bum, I also had 5 mammoths and one angry giant chasing me as well. Then out of nowhere a group of the Vigilants decide to join the party.

So there I was, running back to Dawnstar with this horde of angry creatures coming right behind me, bumping into random travelers giving me strange looks until they turned around and stared at their impending doom. It seemed like the guards would have to defend the small town from a mammoth invasion when one of the travelers I passed decided to take up arms and fight back. This Nord adventurer had the lowest level gear in the game, with nothing but a mace to defend against the oncoming onslaught. I had little hope for him seeing the luck I had with some pretty high level gear.

But the unthinkable happens. Calling upon the strength of Talos, he kills everyone. I have no idea how he did it. Even when the mammoths came, he wasn't even incapacitated. This random NPC rushed towards the horde with a battle cry while I whimpered in the corner of a front porch with my Blades armor and seemingly unlimited potions.

You must play an Orc named Galush Gro Fuckface. Your objective is to be a dick to everyone you meet, and to obtain at least one-hundred forks. If you pick up a knife by accident, you must cast a shock rune and jump on it.

go forth and be as much of a twat as possible

Wow after reading the Argonian account Black Marsh really does sound like a shitty place.

I'm very, very frustrated right now.
At some point yesterday I noticed I wasn't getting as many gems and such as I should from Prowler's Profit, but I dismissed it and continued adventuring. It started to become more and more apparent as I didn't loot a SINGLE GEM in 4 containers.
Shortly after I tried to backstab a guy and instead of getting my usual 30x I only got 15x damage. Now the game is acting as if my sneak skill isn't in the 90s.
That's odd, maybe it's the Sacrificial Dagger, so I switch them to my Elven daggers and keep adventuring. Continuing up to a bandit hold where I MUST assassinate everybody, I figure it will be easy because I'm an assassin type character, NOPE!
These people notice me from a mile away, even with my enchanted gear, muffled boots and all that. I'm crouched, in the shadows and very far away and they just go "HUH WHAT WAS THAT?!" and boom they know I'm there. Quite frustrating when I'm playing a sneaky character and I'm doing a sneaky mission.. It's like none of my perks or enchantments or skills are enabled.

Has this ever happened to anyone?
Is there a fix for this?

Accumulating large amounts of game-altering mods and doing alternate play-throughs. That and avoiding all the boring and shitty questlines in the game since I know to avoid them now. (Sadly, there are a lot of them)

Basically, playing again wit Bethesda's bullshit fixed.

Does anybody else get headaches from playing Skyrim? I'm not even sure it's a headache as much as it is just really annoying irritation, it's quite a vague feeling. At first I thought it was just because everything was really grey-scale, but I still get it after installing an ENB that makes everything nice and colorful. It's really annoying, because it means I can only play for like twenty minutes before I start getting irritated with it.

Try increasing your field of view from the default of 65, because low FOV can easily cause headaches and nausea. And turn down the contrast. If you have FXAA on, turn that off too, because the resultant fuzzy blurriness might be messing with you.
