Are there any multiple companion mods on the steam workshop? I wanna have more then one follower at once, but I'd prefer it if I can just get it through the workshop.
Sort of...It's in beta, I haven't had the oppurtunity to try it myself.

Did this mod ever get posted here? Feel free to rate me lat if it has, seems like a fun mod, but I am almost certain it is over-powered.

So I came out of this cave with the crazy glowing mushrooms and stuff and my game is stuck in a loop. Now, whenever I load the game, I get stuck in this crazy loop where the screen fades from dark to an image and I hear the noise of iron gates but it keeps repeating.

Anybody have an idea how to fix this? This has prevented me from actually playing the game because I think my last backup save was a long time ago.

My Skyrim has been defunct for a few days now, outside cells crash after 3-30 seconds, no errors or anything, just instantly booted to desktop.
No mods have changed, it all started when I changed ansiotropic filtering from 2x to 16x, but changing it to anything now doesn't work. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing all of my mods, going indoors and PCBing but nothing works.

    Anyone else have this? Help?

I just want your guys opinion on if i should focus on one skill at a time to rank up or SLLOOOOOOOOOWLY rank up all of them at the same time. Right now on my new character im focusing on the destruction class and its very efficient. I came here to see what your opinion is first and second, if this will bite me in the ass eventually.

Make sure they are not clipping through the object you place them on. Even a bit can cause havoc with, well, havok. If you cannot make it fit nicely on a surface, hit F while above it, that will put it on that surface. Alternatively, you can double click the item and check Don't Havok Settle. That will cause them to not have physics.

I would love for some future TES game to have full-scale Tamriel or even Nirn. Imagine finding Whiterun and it looks like this:

faction quests that are actually very long so it would take 500 hours to finish main quest alone for example. Sounds overkill but that would really be an epic long time adventure and imagine the satisfaction of saying "Yay, I'm the fucking master of Dark Brotherhood, I remember how I just started their quests last summer". I do aknowledge that this is extreme and I don't know if it would actually work as a game, but dreaming never hurt anybody.

Hey, 30 years ago current tech in games was only a dream too.
Late reply, but I don't see how this wouldn't be possible. You would think Solitude, the capital of Skyrim, would be a city of that size. But nope, it's just a little town on the side of a mountain overlooking the ocean. Assassin's Creed 1 kind of did that, although the in between areas didn't really have much to do in. It was more of just traveling on horseback to the next city for more missions. But that was 5 years ago, imagine what can be done today.

Rank them naturally and try and balance them. For example, on my warrior I tried to speed rank my one handed without ranking up heavy armor or block and I noticed that I was getting hurt a lot faster. As you level up, monsters "level", so you will encounter more monsters that do more damage.

You might be a champ with destruction, but if you can't mitigate damage, buff yourself, or heal yourself, then you are going to get thrashed by the stronger monsters.

There are two methods to building a city. The first is make it large and sprawling, but less "unique". It would take a ton of man hours to make every building unique with unique stuff, and therefore the city would be mostly filler. This can damage immersion and make the city boring.

The other way is the way Bethesda does it, make small cities, and have damn near everything in the city be important for some reason or another. This doesn't feel as "epic", but it makes you feel like most of the town has personality, rather than all being generic npcs and houses. The ratio of stuff to do versus generic filler is a lot higher.

Both ways have their places in gaming(GTA wouldn't be GTA without a large sprawling city full of "filler" buildings and npcs you can't really interact with). However, for a RPG like Skyrim, where a huge part of the game is seeing the personality of the people living inside the world, you want more intimate city design.

Some of those could work in a different context. With a bit of tweaking the "ghost draugr" could work pretty well in a horror type environment, same with the other zombie tweaks.

No, but I usually have both my own character and my followers stick with a theme, such as dragonplate with the Jagged Crown, or ebony armor with glass weapons/shields. Then of course I just gave all my Nightingale stuff to Marcurio because that getup looks awesome on someone who shoots lightning bolts from both hands.

There really isn't much of a difference to be honest. Kinda wish the essential characters were like fallout i.e. only main quest people were essential and everyone else, you'd just fail the quest if you killed them

The main difference is that essential NPC's in Skyrim stay hostile when they get up. Maybe my memory of Oblivion is foggy, but I thought when you attacked an essential (making them hostile) and knocked them unconscious, they were no longer hostile when they got up.

Or maybe that was just the vampire dude in the dark brotherhood. Farmed a lot of skills just knocking that guy out again and again.

I always get screwed over with my thief characters cause I never really get hit. When I fight it's either already over through sneak attacks, or I'm dodging/blocking attacks and just not getting hit. So my light armor skill always lags way behind my main combat skills. :(
