I beg to differ, good sir.

    Edited:

I never used HTC sense but I always imagined it being a complete opposite of Holo
Sense can be like Holo, it's just up to HTC to try and make that look. Sense 4.0 has resemblance to Holo, but the choice of colors is much lighter.

    Edited:

Especially removing the gradients, that would make a massive difference in look.

    Edited:

I'm currently playing with Sense 4A (One V port) some more right now, and I can say that all it takes is a change in colors to make it much more ICS-like.

Yes, the widgets aren't in the app drawer. No, I steadfastly believe that they shouldn't and that it is for the better to have the entire homescreen layout have it's own edit mode where everything can be added at the same time without having to constantly tap and hold and drag shit around.

Sure it's a good choice, if you're willing to cough up the money.

One of the czech cellphone websites editor that was at the event said that although the official price wasn't announced, he managed to get the information from one of the Samsung guys there:

Should be around ~600EUR (~780USD)*, which is pretty much the same like the Galaxy S2 upon launch.

    * that's for the 16GB version I suppose, 32GB or the rumored 64GB (doubt that one is happening, just like when the Galaxy S2 was supposed to be made in a 32GB variant as well) will be priced higher ofcourse.

    I have a question too:
Why most of those themes ripping off of other systems?
It seems like everyone wants their phone to look like another device that it isn't, people want their Android phones to look like iOS or WP7, iOS people want their device to look like Android/Sense or WP7, Linux users want their machines to look like Windows or OS X, Windows users want their machines to look like OS X..

They look very good, but Dreamboard is really, really unpleasant to use. It's like Rainmeter, for Windows, it looks great but isn't as good to use as the actual thing.
    Even on high-end devices.

Except Dreamboard is awkward to use, specially as an everyday thing
It's more of a gimmick to show your friends, I couldn't manage to use any themes (and I tried a bunch, most paid)

And the answer is no not really, the One XL is the only decent phone on AT&T right now. If you can put up with only have 10 gigs of FAT32 storage and 2 gigs of internal app storage, it's the phone to go with.

    Edited:

If you can stand waiting, there is a certain HTC Totem that has yet to be released, I suspect it's going to be succeeding the One XL.

Quite literally the only phones I'm willing to recommend right now are the international One X and the Sprint Evo 4G LTE. I'll also probably recommend the SGS3 for those who are obsessed with AOSP.

The same reason why Windows have more viruses. More people use iPhones (unfortunately), so there are more people who want to make themes, therefore, more themes, therefore more of a higher quality.

the themes are fine until you want to do something like using apps that aren't already on it, changing things around and stuff
often icons appear blown up, movement gets sluggish

This is a good place to ask this, so I'm gonna.

my phone (HTC Trophy) is a royal piece of shit and I'm looking to replace it

Should I drop off our family plan, pay my dad the ETF (~200 dollars right now), get a new phone on my own contract, or buy a used Verizon phone now and ride out the rest of the contract? Either way I'll be spending ~$200 right off the bat, and I'll still need to buy a phone if I go the first route.

I'd love to cut the waiting, when your phone has to be rebooted continuously to connect to 3G and it turns itself off all the damn time, it's time for a new phone.
