The Wolf of Amigara Fault
The Wolf of Amigara Fault
THIS IS MY HOLE, IT WAS MADE FOR ME!!
drr...
DRR..
DRR..
oh god no
That was a scary and disturbing thing I just looked up and then read.
...
;-;
Now, I must make a painting texture that disguises it as a sign.
A LPer I watch went through a portal and it landed in a ravine, and that somehow updated sand it caused water to flood the ravine. That's manly.

Updating with minecraft's progress so far, this is what jonkagstrom tweeted:
jonkagstrom posted:
Utilizing the snowmen as turrets.
That would be pretty awesome.
Villagers defence? Fuck that, work on the combat system. Systems crap man.
He's an AI programmer, not a combat specialist.
It's confirmed, the AI coder is secretly a samurai
Hey guys, does anyone happen to know a place like an IRC channel or something I can go to with questions regarding modding Minecraft?
My endeavor into making custom packets didn't quite work - the server and client both run fine, but trying to connect to the server gives an End of Stream disconnect, and the server's log gives an unhelpful "disconnect.genericReason." I tried Googling it, but finding any modding info on Minecraft is very hard.
I would like to avoid signing up on minecraftforums if I can, so any other form of communication (that's free obviously) would be appreciated.
In the meantime, have a sheep saying "Baa!"

I thought that said Baal, and I thought it was a reference to diablo.
Eugh, why did I look that up, sweet baby jesus that was disturbing.
So me and a couple of friends decided to blow shit up in minecraft.
that's a lot of TNT.
oh and we used 22GB of RAM.

Those explosions remind me of metal slug.
Share your texture pack?
Sweet zombie jesus that was fucked up.
Avatar fits.
quick question: can minecraft admins view the clients' .jar remotely?
I know exactly what you're talking about.
jesus fucking christ
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Read it, considering the reactions I expected some kind of porn but it was just a creepy-ish comic. Meh.
It's weird how they just slide in, are they dragging themselves forward with their toes or something?
It was supposed to be something about how the tunnels were carved that made it impossible to go backwards, only inching forwards.
Yeah but they don't seem to 'inch' forward, it's more like they're standing on a conveyor.
Is anyone else using the JRE 8 dev preview? I installed it and saw a slight performance increase (like, 5-10 FPS on top of my existing 109). Wondering if anyone else saw any significant difference.
Link to the JDK 8 project page thingie: http://jdk8.java.net/
Btw, this is the 1,111th post in this thread.
Edited:
Well, it's the 1,111th reply to this thread, according to the Minecraft section's main page. Counting the OP (which the post number does but the reply counter does not), this is the 1,112 post in this thread.
You know what, never mind. Just, never mind.
I figure they sort of bent their legs forward, then dragged their upper body along the stone walls. Given how the only way I can imagine it would be impossible to move backwards would be walls carved like a serrated knife, it's quite frankly amazing they have any skin left after moving down the tunnel for any length of time.
Japanese comics aren't exactly renowned for making sense.
I really wish there was some documentation for modding Minecraft. Or that I could find a place that could actually help. I've tried two or three "Minecraft modding" IRC channels, but it seems the people there do everything except mod minecraft.
Rather unfortunate, really.![]()
I would like to see how successful I would be building Amigara Fault on the next server I go on.
Well everyone in Minecraft is a block, so I don't see how you'd be able to give people specific holes in the wall unless you're the Redstonian equivalent of Nikola Tesla.
That does sound like an interesting idea, though.
Well, I resolved the end-of-stream disconnect problems I was having with my custom packet. It's amazing what you can learn when you actually read the errors.
Now I'm trying to figure out why my variable isn't saving. All my test packet does is increment a random variable on the receiving player by one. My debug printing is saying that it is setting the variable, but it doesn't seem to actually set - every time the packet is sent, it goes from 0 to 1.
This thread is now my developer blogpunch. Hope you don't mind.![]()
Had to try this with RedPowers amazing slabs

It's... beautiful.

The old farlands always reminded me of amigara's fault.
