Galaxy MP5's are shit. Seen so many break with any kind of rough housing.
    TM's are ok, but lipo's are a no-no.

Go with the G&G one if you need something cheaper, Echo 1 Master if you can afford it.
echo 1 just rebrands shittier guns and bumps the price, the fuck are you talking about?

    You've just derped. Hard.
Galaxy Mp5K is the jesus of affordable airsoft guns.
G&G is better and more expensive than the Echo 1 master.
    TM's are fantastic.

I'm willing to bet that my 3 year old Galaxy MP5K could kick the crap out of the majority of the stuff on a field, and that's what it did last Pine Plains.

Am I the only one who hates people with polarstars?

They're a great machine, but people sorta cheat with them.
For example, my cqb field is semi only, so you can't mag dump into someone. Not a bad rule.
But, since polarstars have amazing trigger response it's perfectly allowed for them to mag dump, as long as it's semi.

There was a couple instances where me and this one polarstar guy rounded a corner. We both shot. Usually, we both take a neutral kill, but no he's better than that. I call out, he says "A little late on that" and stays in the game. Later I shot him in the back. He didn't even call out, just quietly walked to spawn.

tl;dr I can't stand the elitist attitude polarstars promote.

You can do that with any gun with a mosfet or electronic trigger switch in, though. It's really just down to the player using it.

But yeah, the attitude brands like that seem to induce on people is stupid. There's a bunch of people at my field who buy high end guns and expect to be instantly respected and treated like the cool kids, but they're a bunch of assholes.

They're nice guns, sure, but the only point you're making by getting a systema or polar star and trying to get cool points with it is that you have a shitload of money to blow on toy guns, and that you're an asshole for making a huge deal out of it.

I talked with a guy who said he liked his P* because when it chronos 400 with .2s, it then shoots ~380 with .25s because of increased air efficiency. So in essence he likes it because he can cheat and circumvent muzzle energy regulations. And this guy co-owns an airsoft store.

    I do actually have one

I'm sorta confused between getting an mp5 or a carbine (the site I was on for lessons and help said carbines are considered middle way weapons)

in airsoft, the only difference between a carbine-type gun and an mp5 is the shape, the size, the magazine type, and some internal differences

it doesn't really matter cause they both fire the same 6mm bbs

    get whichever you like more

Yeah. Using the poppet dwell setting I CAN drop .30's in my gun and shoot 400 and then chrono with .2's and shoot 400 still. It's possible, but that's why I spot check any P*s on the field I ref if I don't know them and trust them.

Propane is great. $2 for a bottle twice the size of a king arms can. Just put lube in the adapter liberally. And I suggest madbull propane.

So I just found my friends M&P 15 airsoft rifle but i can't tell if it's any good or not

Because not only can I not shoot it because the battery is dead but also because there's no bb's or airsoft pellet

And there's nothing to tell who made it or manufactured it at all

    Edited:

Nevermind on the bottom of the handle it says ICS

    Guess I'm gonna go researching

    Edited:

Read a review of it and everyone gave it 4 or 5 stars

Any thoughts or opinions on it? I'm gonna go find a battery charger and try to get some ammo for it

The connector. That one pictured is a Tamiya and there are small and large versions of that. Those are the most common.

The charger on the other hand I pictured, although one of the most common sucks. They give them out free with guns, take forever to charge and usually ruin the battery. Don't buy one of them, get a smart charger.

Depends in if its a NiMH battery, a LiPo battery, NiCd battery, etc.

Nimh and NiCd batteries can (correct me if I'm wrong) take similar if not the same chargers, which they can show you at any local shop. I suggest a smart charger.

Lipo chargers can be more expensive, but some are universal chargers and will even charge nimh like my charger ($109 though). Lower end lipo chargers have just little white ports on the front.

Like I said, a store can show you and explain better.
