Just played the final mission again with EDI in my party. I thought    whatever 2 squadmates you used for the mission would be the ones to emerge at the end with Joker. God I can't believe I spent all that time. What determines it? I've seen Javik come out in some videos, but he's technically DLC. I don't think it's randomized since Liara and Garrus appeared both times I played the destroy ending.

What determines who    emerges from the Normandy? I've seen every character emerge in videos, even Javik who is DLC.

not if there's no planet to evolve on, what with a supernova being powerful enough to vaporize the entire system

if there is a relay the Reapers were there and their sun would have to be destroyed

again you seriously underestimate the power of a supernova

it would not be "flung" so much as it would just turn to cosmic dust
life will evolve again on A DIFFERENT PLANET it does not matter if a system is destroyed, there are many more for life to evolve on in 4.6 billion years

again, the reapers were there yes but they did not harvest the life of the system and would probably have left to defend earth

the mu relay survives the supernova of its star when it was flung into something

    Edited:

uhhh It works with collector armor just fine. did you select the right option?
no it doesnt and yes i did have the right thingy selected
i would give you a screenie to prove it but

So now what do I do?

Paragon: Say thanks for noticing and give them feedback.

Renegade: Bitch about how I've gone through all this trouble just to get my games back and how I have spent over 20 hours on Origin Live Chat support since Origin has been released over fuck tons of issues. Then demand I get some compensation. (Imagine all the free stuff I can get!)

I am a usually Paragon player but I'm really leaning towards Renegade regarding this situation.

Heart for Paragon. Winner for Renegade.

How many times you've talked to them and I think whoever your LI is.

And Javik has the most "interaction dialogs" out of all of the squadmates so he is pretty much guaranteed to come out every time.

Well, prior to the Bioware interview, everyone assumed that FTL travel between systems would be severely impacted. But given that now we know that apparently the existence of the relays doesn't really matter, no, not really. The same ending keeps the Citadel intact though.

I've seen all the squadmates emerge as the 'favoured' squadmate in Control & Synthesis. Presumably the same can be said for Destroy, but I've not seen a video of EDI emerging yet. Traynor & Cortez only come out if they're your romance option. No idea about Allers.

In Synthesis, I think your love interest supersedes the additional squadmate, since EDI takes their place.

This brings up a good point. Bioware unintentionally justifying genocide, bigotry, and segregation? I don't know if I fully agree with it, but it's still very valid.

It kind of does matter really. It would take ~25 years or so for the Quarians to get back to Rannoch with the Council Races' Ships' current FTL technology.

I think it was Patrick Weekes who babbled off in an interview something about new research into FTL (Given the current state of the galaxy, I doubt research will progress much) and using the drive cores of the Reapers, which are faster (And presumably survived the magic space wave somehow? I'm not sure how that will work).

Then again, going on quotes from Weekes and Merizan, it seems a few people at Bioware are doing a lot of backtracking.

Mentioning Hitler in a thread discussing how a game's message may inadvertently be supporting genocide is appropriate. That has nothing to do with Godwin's Law.

Well Reaper FTL tech is double the speed of everyone else's, so ~12.5 years then.

I feel pretty bad for both weekes and merizan, honestly. they're trying to be nice by talking to the fans and everyone turns right around and uses their words against the company.

actually it was the result of like ten years under the treaty of versailles and the anger of disarmament and reparations being used by a relatively small group of individuals to turn the entire nation against other ethnicities

it wasnt exactly centuries of racism more like a couple years of angst and heavy drinking

Yeah, Origin "scanning" files is complete bullshit, as far as I can tell. I created a multiplayer game with an Avenger that did 1000 damage, and there hasn't been any repercussions. I'm pretty sure they just check for credit cheating, or if someone is reported for cheating.

    Wow, just wow.

That was the worst multiplayer game I've ever had.
It was a Silver Geth mission on Hydra

There were a few lvl 20s, myself included and I think like a lvl 17
    Our team makeup was;

Human infiltrator with a Crusader shotgun
    Quarian Infiltrator with a Widow
Quarian Engineer with a geth shotgun and some sort of SMG
A Human something (he quit like a bitch early on)

It really frustrates me when teammates aren't able to hold their own in a simple silver match in one of the most open maps of the game. We had 2 guys go down in the third round.

Now, I play with a crusader because aside from its recoil, its a great all around gun. It allows me to not put in the energy to go all out like with other shotguns, while still allowing me to help out quite a bit.

However, I do rely on the people on my team not sucking ass and dying every minute or so.

Like we lost our Human Adept or sentinel or whatever (who stupidly was carrying two heavy weapons) in the third round and I think they quit soon after. But in the span before he left its like all three of my teammates were getting routinely trounced. And its not like there were a billion enemies around, nor was I on the other side of the map.

They were literally across the catwalk from me getting blown up and shot by like 3 pyros, some troopers, 2 or 3 rocket troopers and maybe a hunter.

I don't know if they were just not taking cover, or sucked at taking cover, or just sucked in general. At least one of them was a 200+ n7 level and the other guy was like a 150.

I mean it wasn't like the brave little toaster single digit or <75 and less players venturing too far into the deep end. These people supposedly knew how to play the game.

So long story short, each one of these morons quits the game one by one until its just me. Last objective on the last round before extraction is a 'data hack' game over.

Have you guys run into these sorts of people in increasing numbers lately? Last two games I played had really shitty players, the most recent far worse than normal.

ME1 had a really good balance I felt. And, to be honest, unexplored worlds where side quests took part on (pyjaks stealing data (the little bastards) for example) always felt really neat to me. They might not have had much detail to them, but damn did they provide some stunning vistas to stare in awe at, and they really did make you feel like the galaxy was actually big.
