Playing through ME1 again. Fuck, it's so good. The conversations are SO MUCH MORE INVOLVING. After playing ME3 for 2 weeks straight this is a huge relief.
Also, despite the different endings having really similar cutscenes, they're conceptually so different from each other that it'd be prohibitively hard to handle in a sequel, unless they were really cheap about it.
I like how our user titles are strangely complementary
You're born to be together.
But I'm on my second playthrough of ME3 and I decided to finally talk to him some and he really isn't that bad.
He should've had a crew cut, not a damn mohawk.
And the first ME book Revelations is all about Anderson getting rejected from Spectre status. Not a bad read really.
Synthetic-Joker and EDI get tiny geth babies
They overthrow the galaxy and that's the plot for ME4
Does anybody know if shooting a Ravager's swarm sacks deal more damage to it?
Redundant organs themselves are an odd concept so it could go either way. At the very least you have the need for a lot of fighting, probably against things that aren't completely overwhelming. Would've thought with enough of a fight most predators would leave you alone, but it is Tuchanka.
Isn't Kaidan a Major? That's a higher rank than both of the possible "Commander" ranks.
But seeing as he is a Major he does outrank Shepard.
Save for the fact that Shepard is the first Human spectre and part of N7. Which puts him/her way higher.
finished the game
not sure why they didn't use the original ending i read about, it seems like they went out of their way to make it retarded
still enjoyed the game a decent amount though, welp guess i'll wait for the 'real' ending
Asume Shep is retired and retains his rank, but is still on active duty in other branches that do not have ranks, so he keeps his last rank. Maybe also a nod to James Bond previously being in the Royal Navy and also retaining the rank Commander despite moving to intelligence.
"We're dropping you into a hot zone. No time for aerial bombardment"
" shuttle on final approach, get to the LZ!

Alliance military ranks are just confusing. It's a bizarre combination of Marine and Navy rankings.
Serviceman 3rd Class/Private 2nd Class
Serviceman 2nd Class/Private 1st Class
Serviceman 1st Class/Corporal
So Shepard and Kaiden are equal in ranks. Shepard's a Captain in the Alliance Navy and Kaiden's a major in the Alliance Marines.
