So I did a combat roll from a grenade and mid-roll I opened the tactical menu, the timing was good.

    BSN isn't a shitstorm.

    It's a shitwar

Going in there is honestly risking your life. Vicious posts being made... hate everywhere... it's a wasteland out there.

I knew this would happen. I said, when ME3 gets released BSN would go to hell.

The best ending won't be a disappointment if Bioware makes some sort of other form of media - perhaps cinematics or comics or something that just concludes everything and fills in the blanks where they include    reconstructions of the relays    or something like that. I dunno, Bioware has the potential to fill in the blanks so let's not count that out.

I bet Bioware/EA planned all this shit and is going to make a Fallout 3: BS move, explaining the ending was just a dream and Sheploo was knocked cold. Of course this is going to cost 1395180958 Bioware points

maybe he was knocked out when the    reaper beam hit him, and he dreamed the ending after that
it would explain why the ending is so horribly written because it was in Shepard's mind, meaning it was written by a lifelong soldier, not anyone who knows how to write

DLC wakes you up after the father talking to the child, just before going into the citadel teleport beam thing, and good end ahoy!

    Exactly.

But I'm 100% sure they will figure out (or already figured out) how to squeeze every pennies from our wallets. A DLC which extends the ME3 storyline. The endings are just too ridiculous to be true.

In Arrival, when the relay blew up, it made a huge fucking explosion akin to a Supernova.

So... since ALL the relays blew up... shouldn't the god knows how many planets have also been exploded? way to fuckin' go, Shepard!

But it doesn't give any room for continuations which BioWare planning to create.
Yes, they can make prequels (for example about the First Contact War), or they can make a game similar to Opposing Force - same story from different viewpoint. But BW can't do this too long. Players will need a next chapter of Mass Effect universe.
Anyway, most people believe so and I agree with them about future DLCs which will fix endings. Why then we're back in time just before the start of attack on Cerberus HQ after finishing ME3? Exactly - to complete the last mission again, but with fixed ending.

If Shepard has control of the Reapers, and their technology, can't he make himself a body then control that shit EDI did? Like, while he's using the reapers to rebuild the relays and shit, make a robobody and continue life.

Fucking continue the story of Shepard, only this time he's a badass robot dude.

No matter what anyone else says, I say that Control was the best ending.

Sure it coincided with what TIM wanted, but in the end, we got Shepard in there, not a megalomaniac racist fucker. Control means the best for all species.

TBH I just want an open ended RPG set outside the events of the series, and outside shepard's story.

Like set in the early 2180s/late 2170s, and focusing on events in the terminus systems.

A Renegade probably would, in which case the whole universe basically become North Korea.

Paragon's cool though, so he's probably just leaving Earth for now to go get lots and lots of resources to build some new Relays, as well as maybe some more Reapers to carry people from planet to planet until he gets everything sorted.

Exactly. The ending to ME1 and ME2 might have been the cliche'd "Victory against all odds" ending...but isn't that exactly what we should have gotten for ME3? The whole series was about beating the odds.

I always figured the series was more about breaking bonds. Like, the cycle, for instance.    Even if shit's ruined, you finally won - even if many died and many more will soon, you've secured freedom for the universe. The point wasn't to keep everyone happy and take the Reaper's apple and run with it, the point was to break free. And only once you've broken a wall can you see the night waiting outside, and finally choose to dive into it.

As soon as I was faced with the endgame choices, the thought process that my brother (who had been watching me play the whole game) and I went through was crazy.

-Control still leaves the Reapers intact, but now what do they do? someone's gonna end up dead because someone's gonna piss it off. Only way to avoid that is to dismantle the reapers. And while yeah that solves the reaper problem, it still leaves the galaxy open to possibly recreate the entire thing way down the road, and then the cycle continues anyway. OH YEAH AND THE RELAYS GET FUCKED.

-destroy forces you to kill off an innocent species, destroy the mass relays, plunge galactic technology thousands of years into the past, strand your team with dwindling supplies on some random rock and damn near kill them in the process, kill off EDI, and pretty much fuck everything up. Oh yea, and i guess the reapers get killed too SO ITS OKAY RIGHT?? NOT TO MENTION THAT WE MIGHT STILL DO IT AGAIN IN THE FUTURE.

-synthesize fixes all galactic problems ever, bringing about eternal peace. But at that point, what point is there to live? What are we aiming for? Wouldn't this bring about that "technological singularity" faster? OH YEAH AND THE RELAYS STILL GET FUCKED.

AND NOT ONE OF THESE ENDINGS LETS ME SEE SHEPARD AND LIARA LIVE HAPPILY SOMEWHAT-EVER AFTER. GODDAMNIT. I romanced you and only you for 3 years and I don't even get to see the little blue children you spoke of??

And I think that's part of what makes the endings such a colossal disappointment. The whole game, up to that point, had me thinking "Wow, Bioware actually did it. This is incredible."

    ...and then it's gone.
