Yeah it's not like typing fast is even particularly hard especially if you're using a mechanical keyboard.

I want a mechanical keyboard with tactile switches.

I taught myself to touch type, those elementary school games didn't help much. (But in high school the teachers were surprised I didn't look at the keyboard every five seconds.)

I type slower on a mechanical, too much key travel for my liking.

(I used to own a model M that was taken from a POS terminal)

Going through glitches in the Pokemon games again because some asshole on Reddit linked to bulbapedia and now I'm in a TVTropes-like loop again of clicking all the fucking links until I've read them all.

There's so many memory corruption glitches in the Pokemon series, it's not even funny.

How the fuck does one "accidentally" format a drive?
I was following a guide to boot a Windows installer off a flash drive once. I was really pissed at my brother, since this was the second time I prepared the flash drive (He forgot the Windows logon password after five minutes. I raced through the tutorial again and forgot to find and enter the flash drive's number or something, then used the guide's command which erased the first external device attached to the computer: My external hard drive. I didn't realize it until I noticed the flash drive wasn't flashing and I heard my external drive spin up.

After a few minutes of yelling at myself, I assessed the damage and realized that most of the data on the external drive existed in Dropbox or somewhere on my hard drive. The other stuff was downloaded movies, some Xbox softmod stuff and a few other replaceable files. Sometimes, you just learn the hard way. To be honest, I've learned the hard way more times than I'm willing to admit.

I heard the Das keyboard is a good choice but I had trouble finding a non-US layout. I'm getting a Flico keyboard as my first mechanical keyboard.
