The Prado Museum has owned the portrait for years but assumed it was a mediocre 16th- or 17th-century copy of Leonardo da Vinci’s original, which dates back to the early 1500s.

They had deviantart in 17th century Europe, complete with tracing! (or so people thought)

Got a bit of a shock yesterday when I was walking around an art college near here, I was taking a look at some of the stuff on display, some good, others mediocre, but then I noticed there was a worryingly high amount of dreadful manga mixed in with everything. It was like I was walking through a physical representation of deviantart, shit was scary.

I thought any art-based uni worth their salt avoided manga religiously?

Manga=/=Skilless
While a lot of manga stuff is shit, it can look nice and can take skill to make.

My school has a policy that if you have a single piece of manga in your portfolio they won't accept you.
