Time to replace anything in my library that is under vbr v0. These HM5's make anything less intolerable.
I still have things on my harddrive from about 5-6 years ago that are 128kbps.. sometimes even less. Wow how dumb was I back then. :/

I still do that with post rock, hell I did it today, throughout today
and to be perfectly honest I don't understand why anyone would load up their ipod with dark ambient

that's the kind of stuff you play in a room when you have shit you need to get done, not get on a bus and kill some time listening to

Ambient/drone music is pretty much mood music, I couldn't get much done when I hear it.

My 'outside of my house' list consists of my more aggressive music like The Ocean or Anaal Nathrakh. My at home playlist is all the post-rock, ambient, etc music.

the only time i play dark ambient is when i'm doing something
i play regular ambient all the time (it's light, uplifting though)

i guess out music is pretty much exactly what i play when i'm at home

my amp plus speakers + desk > my headphones

I watched the stalker movie with a friend a while ago
    It sucked, I hated it

I didn't expect WOW OH MY GOD special effects I just thought it'd have a great atmosphere. Instead I watched some guy travel from his grey, dreary russian town to green, dreary russian country and then wander around throwing bolts with 2 other guys

    Edited:

what's worse was that the movie was three hours long
    HOW THE FUCK

roadside picnic, that's what it was
    it was confusing
the premise was cool, the pacing was cool but they just failed to deliver anything real for me

like y'know even if they threw a couple of mutated animals running around I would have been happy

The story opens with a robed, profusely bleeding "God" disemboweling himself, with the act ultimately ending in his death. A woman, Mother Earth, emerges from his remains, arouses the body, and impregnates herself with his semen.
I think I may have seen this /b/efore....

    Edited:

    ninjad

blade runner ofc, not a cult film imo tho

I think it'd go more like this

    event horizon
    pandorum
    blair witch
    uh
    sunshine

sci fi/horror etc, that's how my friend and I roll

    Edited:

Sunshine has an amazing soundtrack, and the effects are great
which reminds me the same people did the soundtrack for that, did it for 28 days later and 28 weeks later

they're now on the list. when is the new 28 days movie coming out, i hope they plan on releasing another one
